As another broadcast TV season slips into the rear view mirror, NBC Sunday Night Football finishes on top of the all important adults 18-49 ratings. The contest for second was a nail biter, as the Wednesday American Idol edged The Voice by just 0.04 ratings points. Modern Family was the top scripted show of the season.

Why do they keep counting repeats in the average year after year? That just makes no sense at all!?!

These ratings mostly include DVR. NFL doesn’t usually get significant DVR viewing. Idol, Voice and Modern Family typically get huge DVR increases. All the more impressive for Sunday Night Football.
Wow, Modern Family beat Big Bang Theory by .01 of a rating. And the T2 dramas are on ABC.
grey’s anatomy is number 1 drama and once upon a time is number 2 drama. modern family is number 1 comedy. Makes you wonder… If only ABC had American Idol instead of DWTS were would they be…

Mostly proves my point that Two and a Half Men will never be cancelled, it will mearly be ended when everyone has decided enough is enough. Should Season 10 have more direction you can certainly bet on a Season 11 emerging.

A 4 million dollar an episode show I might add. Which if renewed would of recieved an increase in budget. Puts the cancellation into perspective when looking at the ratings.

Live+SD for new episodes Secret Circle (0.8) did better than Supernatural (0.7). Why would you be surprised that adding in Live+7 and repeats would be any different? (Especially considering how little TSC was repeated compared to SPN.)
