The Glenn Beck Show on GBTV had a substitute host today. She did a great job, but I tuned in late and didn’t catch her name. I thought I heard her say she worked for CNN. Was that correct?
Her name is Dana Loesch & she is a CNN contributor. She has a radio show & ‘Talkers’ named her one of the 100 most important talk show hosts in America. She also serves as a grassroots organizer having co-founded the St. Louis tea party movement
MSNBC has reached a new low with that estrogen laden host
Chris Hayes with his declaration ” I have trouble with calling
fallen military people…HEROES ”
Hayes has now surpassed Chris Matthews as the most repulsive
host on MSNBC. ( only by a hair )
COMCAST should be ashamed of this operation in total and
introduce programming that provides a diversity opinion on the
political landscape and not simply ultra left radical sputum.
By the way Hayes wife works in the Obama whitehouse.
Chris’s statement id utterly suffused with nuance, something of which the masses are incapable. So many words and phrases are used without thought, and “hero” with reference to people serving in the military is a prime example. (Yes, I do have a DD214). Another word that annoys the hell out of me will start being used in six months: “joyous” with regard to “the holidays” of November and December. Oops. People are unwittingly stressed-out due to the obligations imposed opn them for no good reason. There certain things they must do, emotions they must experience, people with whom they must congregate, etc. In the civilian realm, police officers and Fire fighters sometimes take actions that are deemed “heroic”, but all you have to do is watch local TV in sweeps period to see stories about cops and fire fighter gaming the system to get lifetime disability pensions while working another job or indulging in strenuous free-time activities.
Lawrence, “the masses are incapable” ? You are definitely a liberal, smarter than the rest of us and ready to tell us about it. Sorry you can’t enjoy the holidays because for most of us in the masses it is a joyous time. You and Chris Hayes have a lot in common and that is not necessarily a good thing. You are kind of sad actually, you live in a very skewed bubble.
What the hell is the “Luntz Special”
Can’t we all just get along?
Today Mitt and the Don are in Las Vegas as pals. The Don still believes that president BO was born in Africa. Don; please give me a break. Mitt do you really need this kind of help?
Government Employment Drops Under Obama, But Media Run With Romney Myth Anyway
57 minutes ago
Labor Department statistics say that government employment has decreased by 608,000 since February 2009. Nevertheless, Fox News and Politico both uncritically reported Mitt Romney’s false claim that “[w]e have 145,000 more government workers under this president.”
Watch Fox’s The Five Dance Around Donald Trump’s Birtherism
http://mediamatters.org/iphone/blog/201205290015
During today’s edition of Fox News’ The Five, the co-hosts spent a ten-minute segment talking about Donald Trump and his impact on Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign with only a ten-second mention of Trump’s birther conspiracies.
Actually, no one on the show even mentioned birtherism. The only discussion of birtherism during the segment came from a ten-second clip Fox played of MSNBC’s Michael Smerconish saying: “In an interview with the Daily Beast’s Lloyd Grove, Donald Trump would not back down. He said that he was born in Kenya, raised in Indonesia.”
Co-host Eric Bolling, who has a history of pushing conspiracy theories about President Obama’s birthplace, called Trump “provocative.” while guest co-host, Brian Kilmeade, who has also pushed birther conspiracies, called Trump an “American icon.” And co-host Andrea Tantaros, who previously declared Trump “the winner” of the birther issue, attacked George Will as “snobby” and “elitist” for criticizing Trump
Their deflections from Trump’s birtherism came not long after Trump made an appearance on CNN’s The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer and CNBC’s Squawk Box where Trump pushed more conspiracies about Obama’s birthplace.
Fox’s Ablow: Women Wanting To Serve In Combat Is “Narcissism” And Allowing It Would “Shoot Holes In Our Culture”

From the May 29 edition of Cumulus Media’s The Mike Huckabee Show:
“Don; please give me a break. Mitt do you really need this kind of help”
@HRJ. yes Mitt does, sleezy politics is usually what Republicans fall back on when they know they are going to loose.
The gift that keeps on giving….More words from Phat Phuck…
Limbaugh: “I Have Created More Jobs Than Obama And Romney Put Together, Damn Right”
Limbaugh Says “The Obama Way” Is “Just Not The Way We Have Advanced,” Then Asks, “Could We Win D-Day Today?”
Limbaugh On “Persecution Of Blacks In America”: “What Persecution Would That Be?”
@ Anyone speaking on Chris Hayes’ “Hero” comment…
I am Active Duty military and have orders to Afghanistan (Kandahar). I am in no way a hero. Any wanna-be thug or deadbeat can wear a uniform and spend time in the desert. I don’t really care about Chris Hayes, but he’s not out of line on this one. He even said he may be wrong. I will agree however that it was stupid to say what he said on Memorial Day weekend. Also, Hero does not always = more war.
Has anyone in here ever wanted to strangle the neck of the lazy worker at the DMV? We have people like that in the military.
Heroes is a term used too loosely. When you actually risk harm to yourself and/or give your life for others…THEN you are a hero. Or also when you become a member of the Avengers of course.
Chris Hayes quote:
“Why do I feel so uncomfortable about the word ‘hero’? I feel uncomfortable about the word hero because it seems to me that it is so rhetorically proximate to justifications for more war. I don’t want to obviously desecrate or disrespect the memory of anyone that’s fallen, and obviously there are individual circumstances in which there is genuine, tremendous heroism, you know, hail of gunfire, rescuing fellow soldiers and things like that. But it seems to me that we marshal this word in a way that is problematic. But maybe I’m wrong about that”.
Well it’s official, people in the demo would rather watch a report on the porn industry than Piers or Anderson.
Hi, Jeff
CNN “ Employees: The number of federal employees grew by 123,000, or 6.2%, under President Obama, according to the White House’s Office of Management and Budget.
The federal government has been one of the few areas that’s grown during the economic downturn.”
Going to the Dept. of Labor Statistics website, there is more to be fleshed out. The Federal workforce has been growing even under President Bush, yet, ……

Night all.
The US is officially a Welfare State (50% receive a subsidy) and growing…
If present spending continues, the National Debt will be $21.6 Trillion in 2016…
Currently $15.7 Trillion…

Trump is an idiot!! Just watch Wolf Blitzer, as he did with Newt Gingrich stand his ground an not allow a thug bully him around.
@tennable
Great statement! I enjoyed reading that!
I thought the US air pilot that landed in the Hudson “hero” term was over used as well.
If Trump keeps up this Birther stuff, he’s going to hand President Obama another 4 years.
I do not watch Rachel Maddow often, but when I do catch her program,
I can clearly see why the Neo Con Extremist Teaparty Republicans hate her so much.
They attack her look, They attack her sexuality, as usual. I love her reporting, every program is very enjoyable with unique stories and great interviews.
