NEW YORK, May 30, 2012 -- “Access Hollywood Live,” the syndicated, entertainment-oriented talk show, has scored huge year-to-year ratings gains in almost all of the nation’s top TV markets carrying it, according to Nielsen Station Index figures for the just concluded May sweep (April 26 to May 23, 2012).
The show is up 38% in Chicago, 67% in Los Angeles, and a blistering 100% in Houston over its stations’ time-period performances in the May 2011 sweep.
Other major market standouts for “Access Hollywood Live” include increases of 17% in Sacramento, 25% in Minneapolis, 33% in Memphis, 56% in Washington, DC, and 67% in Milwaukee.
Celebrities featured on the show during the May sweep included rock star Courtney Love, noted singer Roberta Flack, the cast of reality TV show “Sister Wives,” Jamie Denton of TV’s “Desperate Housewives,” four brothers of the late Michael Jackson (Jermaine, Tito, Marlon, and Jackie), Francesca and Dina Eastwood (daughter and wife of Clint Eastwood), and “The Bachelorette” star Emily Maynard.
