The NBA Playoffs Conference Finals were the number one cable program on Sunday night, earning a 3.4 adults 18-49 rating. Game of Thrones was in second place with a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating, down from last week's 2.0.
While they're not in the top 1oo for adults 25-54 below here are two often requested shows:
- The Killing 0.3 A18-49 rating and 1.312m viewers at 9pm
- Veep 0.4 A18-49 rating and 831,000 viewers at 10:01pm
We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our principal source. If you don’t see an original episode of a show here, it’s because it wasn’t in the top 100.
The list below is long but you can use your browsers "find on page" feature (usually CTRL+F or CMD+F) to search - that's probably the easiest way to find Sister Wives.

@Nick – any numbers of Wicked Tuna? 10pm on NatGeo. Thanks.
People say Mad Men has lost its mojo, but I’m enjoying this season.
Killing seems to have found its level. Can’t envision much bounce at this point.
WOW for Girls! It’s getting better ratings than Veep, and Veep has a GOF lead-in!!
I am not surprised about GoT ratings. That is what happens when you air a new episode on a holiday weekend.
Does anybody knows how The Client List did last night? Hope it went up
@I Love the Farm well at least you aren’t bitter or anything lol I actually enjoy almost all the AMC shows. Mad Men is my favorite but Breaking Bad and TWD are also great. There is no denying Weiner is an ego maniac but it’s a great show he uses the critical acclaim and buzz to get more money. It’s widely considered one of the best shows on tv and if you are a fan like myself it’s very good to know we will get at least 2 more seasons. Mad Men just has a die hard following doesn’t hit the main stream viewers or the casual viewers.
My bad, I’ve just saw that there wasn’t a new episode of TCL last night.
If any out there has the numbers on The Killing, please share.
Ratings for OWN.
@kyle
Client List was not new on Sunday
@Jeff (Candada)
Wow, I would have expected Game of Thrones to rise in the ratings, not fall. This was a hugely anticipated episode, the hype going back as far as last summer.
@John A
With the holiday HBO shouldve waited till next week with Thrones.
It’s HBO! The viewership numbers for the inital airing are meaningless. They care about aggregate viewership and subscriptions. The anticipation of Blackwater has already payed off with subscriptions and since they measure the show’s performance by aggregate viewership, airing on a holiday is irrelevant.
Ouch for the Kardashians. Wasn’t expecting that drop. Having said that, it’s still E’s highest rated show and isn’t going anywhere.
River Monsters????
Mob Wives Chicago??
Tough Love????
Really comm’on guys!
I can’t believe people watch things like the Kardasians, Discovery, HERE I come!!!
Basketball doing a lot of damage to first-run viewing of Game of Thrones I suspect. Likely to be a non-trivial overlap in audience, and that 3.4 destroyed everything on the broadcast networks that night.
The way HBO works, of course, that’s largely irrelevant – as long as those viewers who didn’t see the episode live do catch up with it legally before the next one (does the 11pm screening normally do better than the 0.4 this week?).
Even a 1.6 was practically double the next highest non-sports show in all of television that night in 18-49. Unless you count the break after Thrones.
GoT “Blackwater” was best ep for the season from ALL shows! With Blackwater GoT WIN Emmy for outstanding drama series and Peter Dinklage&Lena Headey win Emmys too.
Critical reception”Blackwater” was very well received by critics, many of whom used superlatives: For Time’s reviewer, the episode was “possibly the best hour of TV” of the year,[7] for Rolling Stone it was “the show’s best episode yet”,[8] and Entertainment Weekly described it as “arguably the best battle sequence ever produced for television”, surpassing those in HBO’s World War II series Band of Brothers and The Pacific.[9]
Commentators praised the battle’s emotional impact and epic scale – although much reduced compared to its description in A Clash of Kings, it still went beyond anything attempted by any other regular series, according to Todd VanDerWerff in the A.V. Club.[10] Lena Headey’s performance as the increasingly cynical, drunk and desperate Queen Regent Cersei was particularly noted,[8] as was the episode’s unsentimental depiction of warfare as a harrowing and costly enterprise, interpreted also as a critique of “the sorts of political systems that perpetuate it”.[10] In one of the few mixed reviews, the A.V. Club’s Ryan McGee criticized the episode’s action as difficult to follow because of its cost-saving night shots, its pacing as stuttering and its emotional impact as reduced compared to the first season’s “Baelor”.[11]

OWN’s ratings for Oprah’s own shows on Sunday:
Oprah’s Next Chapter (Booker): 257,000 (2+ viewers); .13 (18-49A)
Super Soul Sunday (Dyer): 163,000 (2+ viewers); << (18-49A)
High points for the day/evening:
The Will: Family Secrets Revealed (Series): 489,000 (2+ viewers); .19 (18-49A)
Sister Wives didn’t do good at at all. 0.5 and 0.6? Is that cancellation territory?
The DVR numbers for game of Thrones will make up for its lower initial showing. The season finale will definately be a series high.
Also this episode will be all over the next Emmy awards from acting to directing and all the creative arts. Congrats to the show for being so great!
I think The Killing is better this year than last year. An amazing show that may not make Season 3. I just don’t understand how people decide what to watch.
