   If you don’t like that “POS Mad Men”, you don’t have to watch it, or fall into the alleged hype. I will be the first to say that this season isn’t as strong as the previous ones, but it’s still one of the best written shows on TV. Granted, some of the nuance is gone, but it’s still a good show.

   I have to agree that GoT’s episode was pretty epic. Lots of great moments in there, mostly by Peter Dinklage, although Lena deserves a lot of credit. Leaving out all the stuff with Dany and the Night Watch was a good idea to concentrate on the battle.

   The decimation of Baratheon’s fleet was an awesome special effect.

   I agree that Dinglage, Headey and Michelle Fairley should all get Emmy nominations.

   I agree. The Killing has been great. Some folks just don’t like it. Could be any number of reasons, but I’m thoroughly enjoying it and look forward to it each week. The ratings have been low, this week likely a season low, but even if it doesn’t come back at least we’ll get the answers to wrap everything up in the finale. We won’t be left hanging.

   Clearly NBA had a big finger in the drops of all shows. GoT really should be around 1.9-2.1 normally.

   When Tyrion gave his speech and finished with that, I was ready to grab a sword and jump into the damn tv with them. That was a great moment.

   Epic Episode of Game of Thrones. Hope we see at least one war per season. Cersei stole the episode.

    I watch TWD, but am not what you’d consider a big fan, so have never made myself intelligently conversant on the show. But reading your avid and faithful posts have prompted a question to pop into my head, which my memory just can’t answer and it’s bugging me now. Would you be kind enough to oblige: Do the characters on TWD refer to the walking dead as “zombies?” This may seem a stupid question, but I honestly can’t bring an echo to my head of a line in the show, where the characters actually do so. All I can recall is the characters referring to them as “walkers.”

    As you posted 3 weeks ago you’ll likely not come back to see this response, but the answer is No. In that world they never developed the idea of Zombies in any way shape or form, and so they didn’t think to name them until the dead began to rise in S1E1.
