Definitions:
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

AGT ratings may change next week when Gordon Ramsey returns with new “Hells Kitchen” & “Master Chef” shows.
This is off-topic, but maybe the reason GLC isn’t working in the 730 timeslot on Disney is because of little promotion; it’s not advertised near enough for a show on a network showing just their ads; or maybe it’s because the timeslot is too early; or the timeslot is cursed; I think its a combination of all three.
What do you guys think?
I didn’t have enough room left on the DVR’s disc to record CT last night along with the 20/20 special (and still keep Ellen programmed to record today), so now I’ll watch CT online. Love that show. I hope it’ll be on TBS’s website next year since I don’t have the channel. Didn’t like Katie Couric doing the royalty interviews last night (I wish it had been someone else, like B Walters or Oprah – oh well) but it was a good special. They advertised there would be a Queen’s Jubilee concert next Tuesday, with Paul McCartney, Elton John, Annie Lennox and others…if I hadn’t watched last night I wouldn’t have known, so now it’s on the must see list.

@Disney Rocks
Good Luck Charlie was a repeat on Sunday, though. Anyway, for Disney Channel I don’t think they look that much at the 18-49 demo anyway since it’s a kids channel. Proabably 6-11 and 9-14, but who knows. I think they put Good Luck Charlie there because they want their flagship show to start off the night, but you’re right at least keep it at 8:00 or even 9:00.
The LA Complex matched its premiere in total viewers.
I don’t know if I want to watch Cougar Town now that Bill Lawrence is off the show. It feels like Scrubs all over again with that great ending, followed by that horrible last season.
@Disneyrocks idk but I do know that Good Luck Charlie is too good for the Disney Channel. It’s the only good show on there with actors that can actually act and the premise not totally dumb or annoying
@yragcom1 – don’t worry about CT without Bill Lawrence. He and Kevin Biegel remain very committed to the show. They’ll be around and have assured fans we have nothing to worry about. They worked (and continue to work) way too hard to save Cougar Town and promote it on their own. No way they’ll just leave it. Also, nearly the entire writing staff will be coming back and they are fantastic. CT will be fine.
@FringeqwillGeticeSeasons,
Don’t you mean it’s shameful for the viewers watchig a rerun of a procedural cop show on CBS?
It looked like Bill Lawrence playing one of the cops who came up to the cul de sac crew on the beach (illegal beach wedding). I didn’t check the end credits but I think it was him. The finale seemed like a show finale, which would have been fine with me but I’m glad there will be more episodes. Even the title card said something like “We hope it’s not the series finale” (and the episode before that said “No title card this week, sorry”). Long live CT!
^CT was two episodes, not just one hour-long episode. I said that on the finals thread too a little while ago. Two half hour episodes, so they should each have their own ratings.
THANKS, Ultima!
