Spain faces ‘total emergency’ as fear grips markets
Spain is facing the gravest danger since the end of the Franco dictatorship as the country is frozen out of global capital markets and slides towards an epic showdown with Europe.
“We’re in a situation of total emergency, the worst crisis we have ever lived through” said ex-premier Felipe Gonzalez, the country’s elder statesman.
Hey Rats? Remember about 6 months ago when I said watch for when USA long term bonds start taking a hit? They are now taking a hit bro. hopefully very short term, but if this trend continues for more than a week? Start stocking beans and noodles dude. Wheat futures are skyrocketing again, and the grain market is rising higher.
The markets are now trying to brace for a very long term recession in many places on the Global economies, including a possible return of recession in the US.
I have to be honest, while I’m no economic wiz, I haven’t seen bad signs like this since right before the crash of 2008. And Globally, this is even worse than back then.

Man that was sick ROTFLMBO
Obama will join Bush and his wife, Laura, as their official portraits are unveiled…
Per Obama, George W. Bush was the most powerful President of all time…
Per Obama, everything happening is the result of the presidency of George W. Bush…

the best thing that could happen is if GW just hauled off and punched Obama right square in his lie hole! And when he was done have ole GW look down on him and say “Yep, now THAT’S my fault!”
Mr.Edd is beside himself (not an easy feat) over Wiscomsin. Whatever.

Progressive Pundits Lay Groundwork To Blame Obama If Wisconsin Recall Fails
Democratic pundits are becoming increasingly resigned to the apparent fact that Wisconsin’s Republican Gov. Scott Walker is likely to survive a recall effort on June 5. Some are actively asking for the White House to send either President Barack Obama or Vice President Joe Biden to Wisconsin to mobilize depressed recall supporters, but that is unlikely to happen. Progressives will take stock of what could have been in the aftermath of a failed recall effort – in doing so, many may wonder aloud why President Obama abandoned their cause.
Walker faces Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett next Tuesday’s recall election. The polls of the race, with the exception of Democratic pollster Celinda Lake’s firm which released a poll on Wednesday that shows the race tied at 49-49 percent, all show Walker with a lead outside their respective margins of error.
As of Thursday, the Real Clear Politics average of polls of this race show Walker leading Barrett by 6.6 percent.
On Wednesday, pro-union activist and MSNBC host Ed Schultz made a passionate plea to the White House to send President Obama to Wisconsin to fire up the troops
Hung jury on all but One Count, and on the one they have a verdict, no word yet

The big 2 in Wisc has Walker by 7 and by 8 now, and gaining, sometimes the trending means more than the daily, and he has been trending up
You ARE correct Dave! We cant handle the truth because the truth is Obama has done a crap job!
Axelrod To Romney Protesters: “You Can’t Handle The Truth”
Obama senior adviser David Axelrod was met with protests from Romney supporters at a press event in Massachusetts today. A frustrated Axelrod, who was shouted down, tells the protesters “they can’t handle the truth.”
After his brief remarks, Axelrod asked for questions from the press but was met with more banter from Romney protesters with slogans like “where are the jobs?”
“You can’t handle the truth, my friends. That’s the problem. If you can handle the truth, then you quiet down,” Axelrod said.
What a TOOL!!!!!!
Blamer in Chief?
At the unveiling of former President George W. Bush’s official portrait at the White House this afternoon, President Barack Obama joined his predecessor and their wives in delivering brief (and at times nice, cordial, and funny) remarks. But there was a seemingly out of place moment during the ceremony when Obama seemed to veer into reiterating his frequent trope that he inherited a bad economy from Bush.
“The months before I took the oath of office were a chaotic time,” Obama said, after explaining that the president’s job is isolating, and that he and Bush have a connection since so few have held the job. “We knew our economy was in trouble, our fellow Americans were in pain, but we wouldn’t know until later just how breathtaking the financial crisis had been.”
This is how Obama is dealing with the 1%ers! MAKE EM 99ers!
America Lost 129,000 Millionaires in 2011
America’s millionaire population declined last year for the first time since the financial crisis, according to a new report.
The population of U.S. millionaire households (households with investible assets of $1 million or more) fell to 5,134,000 from 5,263,000 in 2011, according to The Boston Consulting Group’s Global Wealth study.
Total private wealth in North America fell by 0.9 percent, to $38 trillion.
The ultra-rich were the largest losers in dollar terms. Households in North America with investible assets of more than $100 million saw their wealth decline 2.4 percent. Their population declined slightly to 2,928 from 2,989.
@Ratboy
Well dude, word behind the investor’s world scene is now this..Just got this from an advisor…
In June prepare for a possible disastrous market run, on the uncertainty of the effects of Greece and Spain and the confusion in the EU, the outlook looks dire, it is recommended investors fortify their share holdings and proceed with any trading with the upmost caution.
I may write him back and tell him “SO WHAT” I could only lose about 400 bucks
On the serious side, I am totally considering cashing out on the few I do have, the market has gone nuts and the Big Boys are blocking any serious good runs for small investors anyway.
Another democrat shoots holes on the Obama attack on Bain!!
Deval Patrick aims for Mitt Romney, hits Obama
Deval Patrick isn’t much of an attack dog.
And that can’t be making the Obama campaign too happy.
Appearing on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Thursday, Patrick called Bain “a perfectly fine company.”
“They have a role in the private economy, and I’ve got a lot of friends there … on both sides of the aisle,” Patrick added. “I think the Bain strategy has been distorted in some of the public discussions.”

NANCY HAAAAAAS SPOKEN!!
Pelosi: ObamaCare Will Be Upheld 6-3, “Because I Know The Constitution”
When asked why she is so confident the Supreme Court will uphold the health care law, Pelosi says, “Because I know the Constitution.”
“This bill is ironclad,” she continued. “It is ironclad. Nobody was frivolous with the Constitution and the health of the American people in writing the bill,” she said. “So, that’s where my confidence springs from, the merit of the bill and the nature of the Constitution. The makeup of the court, well, we’ll see.”
@Ratboy
so are you saying I should invest in mattresses and cash in my other investments?
No silly, I’d say invest in Rolaids, Coors beer, KY Whiskey, any company that deals with how to handle depression and stress, and survival, and economic collapse companies.
