@David
Yes, Fox leads in cable news but cable news is the minor leagues. The vast majority of Americans watch broadcast news and NOT cable news…just look at the numbers I posted above.
After so many years of only liberal news programming we conservatives have a channel to watch…Thank goodness…Keep up the good work Fox…
Doocy, Gretchen and Kilmeade have very little to do with 5am hour’s success. They come on at 6, don’t know what their picture is doing here. But anyways, great job for F&F First.
Does “Steve Perry” need to get a life? The time you spend on the Huffington Post make you the poster boy of all Kool-Aid Drinkers! Ask your Doctor about Thorazine (Chlorpromazine).
Sorry makes you the poster boy for Kool-Aid.
@One Of The Ignorant
Yep you pray for me – and ask your God how he / she feels about the caustic BS your beloved network puts out into the world everyday.
Dan, I just present the facts:
#1 – NBC Today – 5,175,000 viewers
#2 – ABC GMA – 5,111,000 viewers
#3 – CBS This Morning – 2,399,000 viewers
#4 – Fox and Friends – 1,208,000 viewers
@Dan
Don’t get mad or frustrated just because Fox can’t compete with Broadcast Liberal News.
@Steve Perry
Apples to oranges comparison. Right wing radio gets over 15 million listeners (Rush, Hannity). So numbers can be massaged both ways. As it is, broadcast and to a lesser extent, are slowly fading as a news source. We all go to our corners and read what we want online, unfortunately.
So how come, when you Google on #1 News network, Fox comes up first? Because they’re NUMBER ONE!
@ Kyle,
Do you watch Fox News? Or just listen to John Stewart and Colbert make fun of Fox News…
Trying watching it, you may be surprised how they scrutinize all parties/social issues.
Steve Perry: How does this fit into your equitation:
According to Pew, 53 percent of MSNBC’s viewers identify themselves as Democrats, compared to 47 percent at CNN and 21 percent at Fox News. Applying those percentages to the August Nielsen ratings, it means that the average number of Democrats watching Fox News is 214,200. MSNBC has 199,810 Democrats, and CNN 179,070.*
Fox news,is the best news on cable.They are fair and balanced and i am a liberal.cnn,msnbc are nasty, bias ,waste of time folks.
Steve Perry cant stand it, can he? Comparing broadcast to cable. LOL. What a dolt.
@Steve Perry: C’mon! Stop being a dumba$s. Cable TV, free & pay, is already winning more Emmy awards than the multitudes of crap on the broadcast networks.
It will be a while longer, but eventually, more TV viewers will get their news from cable than broadcast TV.
Currently, comparing the morning fare of CBS, NBC and ABC, with FOX or any other cable news channel, is absurd.
Smarten up, already. I don’t know who you are Jeff are trying to impress with your continous postings of “apples v. oranges” comparisons.
Here are two old sayings that you should live the rest of your life by:
1. “If you can’t dazzle us with brilliance, don’t try to baffle us with B.S.
2. Ratings: “Figures don’t lie, but liars figure.”
They appear to have confused Fox & Friends with Fox & Friends First, which is a 5 a.m. show that leads in to the actual Fox & Friends.
More people have Free tv then cable or dish. So free news is higher. But look at the Evening News rating. Down down down, one because of cable and two because people are sick of the Media coverups for liberal. Look at Fast and Furious, never covered by the Networks.
And another thing, Fox and Friends is over at 6am west coast time. All those network shows are rebroadcast in mountain and pacific so the rating are higher because in the mountain and pacific zones, we don’t see fox and friends.
Fox & Friends First has the best legs on Cable. Its very pleasant to watch, an the delivery of the News is great as well.
Hey Steve Perry, gotta cite your source before you go nyaa, nyaa, nyaa. you’re embarrassing yourself.
