THE “CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY” POSTS YEAR-TO-YEAR RATINGS GAINS, UP +11% IN HOUSEHOLDS, +8% IN VIEWERS AND +17% IN ADULTS 25-54 FOR THE WEEK
The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY tied with ABC in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending June 1. The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY was the only network evening news broadcast to post gains in that key demographic
The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY posted year-to-year ratings gains for the week among households (4.0/08 from 3.6/08, +11%), viewers (5.85m from 5.41m, +8%) and adults 25-54 (1.4/06 from 1.2/05, +17%).
Editor’s Note: The three network evening news broadcasts were “specials” on Monday, May 28, in both years due to the Memorial Day holiday.
