The NBA Playoffs Conference Finals were the number one cable program on Sunday night, earning a 4.9 adults 18-49 rating. The Game of Thrones finale was in second place with a 2.2 adults 18-49 rating.

We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our principal source. If you don’t see an original episode of a show here, it’s because it wasn’t in the top 100.

UPDATE: Additional ratings info via commenter Nick is below the table

The list below is long but you can use your browsers "find on page" feature (usually CTRL+F or CMD+F) to search - that's probably the easiest way to find Veep.

  • Mr Mikey

Wow I thought the mtv movie awards would do much better.

  • Ram510

Mad Men has been great the past couple weeks, hopefully it goes up even more for the finale (.9-1.0 maybe)

Clearly Young Justice is the main attraction on CN’s DC nation, I just wish CN would show Young Justice more love. Green Lantern is now doing worse than Thundercats, it should be cancelled ASAP. I really hope they brIng Thundercats back for another season

Longmire skews really old lol. It’s like a CBS show on cable

Teen Wolf was quite boring and confusing not surprised that the ratings weren’t crazy big. I’m just waiting for Awkward now

What a great night for cable TV waaaaay too much to watch!

  • Max

I disagree about Teen Wolf. It wasn’t boring nor was it at all confusing. In fact, they pretty much tightened up all the stories and it makes much more sense now than it did in the latter part of season one.

However, the ratings are not good and I am sure we will see a big drop when last night’s cable ratings come in. The show is never going to do amazing numbers for the network regardless of how much buzz it has in the “teen-verse.” Whether or not it even makes it to season three remains to be seen.

  • NadineSH

@Torrid : no one is going to argue that hockey finals are or even could be a popular as basketball finals. However, you can’t necessarily draw the reasons from the sports themselves. Nothing draws like a Northeast team sports finale. I’m a New Yorker — and New York is INSANE about sports — but now I live in the Boston area and I have never ever seen such mania about sports teams as occurs up here. The Celtics following is utterly fanatical — and very very widespread. On the other hand, you have southern California, which simply doesn’t care for sports, and the New Jersey Devils, whom no one in New York cares for. You have to factor that in too.

  • NadineSH

Btw, I believe ESPN has been saying that this was the largest audience ever for a cable NBA game.

  • Ram510

Teen Wolf didn’t make a lot of since at times. They whole thing with Jackson didn’t make any sense and at this point I don’t know why he’s even a big part of the show. The Lydia thing was weird, I didn’t get that and she’s another useless character. The other girl I don’t know if she’s a hunter or not and she’s quite whiny. Why does the Alpha need help. I also kind of don’t remember the aunt dying but it has been a year. And on top of all that. Is they have a new creature, what a mess

The only watchable character is Styles

  • Max

    @Ram

You are obviously not paying close enough attention.

Jackson is going through something and we will find out soon enough. He is also a great villain character and makes a good foil for the “good” guys.

Lydia is in a similar boat. And her relationship with Stiles/Jackson is a main storyline.

Your other questions have obvious answers if you were really watching. It is hardly complicated or a mess. Very tight writing.

  • RHONJd

Disney Rocks, the episode of Good Luck Charlie “Name that Baby” will air June 15 @ 7:30 before the premiere of Let it Shine

  • J

    Celtics for the win!

  • Bryan S

@NadineSH “Btw, I believe ESPN has been saying that this was the largest audience ever for a cable NBA game.”

It was the largest viewing audience for an NBA game on that channel (ESPN). Last year, TNT’s coverage of Heat vs Bulls had 11.1M viewers. The largest viewing audience for NBA game on cable.

  • Alvin

I thought the NBA game had close to 15 million based on the overnights, I think the Bulls/Heat last year beat that rating many times last year.

Shake it Up is a Beast!

Teen Wolf off to a nice start and MTV needs to cancel those Movie Awards I don’t think anybody has watched them since like 1995.

  • Mersad

So glad for THE KILLING! It’s back to the premiere ratings of Season 2 for the 18-49 demo. I hope it will rise even more for the two final episodes when the killer will be revealed. And furthermore I hope that the ratings increase will prompt AMC to give renew it for a third season.

  • JR

@bryanS No the Heat/Bulls game 1 of last year had 11.100 viewers but a lower rating. This Heat/celtics game 4 had 11.068 and higher rating. That game last year is the only one ever to beat Sunday’s Heat/celtics game and by the slightest margin in viewers.

  • Nick

@SV: Bobby Flay’s BBQ Addiction at 11 AM had 782K viewers with a .27 A18-49 rating. That beat all telecasts before it, though not Best Thing I Ever Made right after it (840K/.33).

And Sandwich King at 7:30 AM on Saturday averaged 344K viewers and a .11 A18-49 rating. That only beat BBQ Addiction at 7 AM. Ratings grew each half hour from there (which is usually the case).

  • MIKE S

GOT is so overrated.. the first season was so boring. i waited 10 episodes hoping to see a battle.. but nothing! i heard most of the 2nd season was boring too.. the walking dead is way better..

  • pirate1303

Longmire was slow-tedious and boring- gave it a chance= never again-how many murders can there be in Wyoming-it is not Cabot Cove-

  • poweranimals

@disneyrocks – They rescheduled GLC to June 15th at 7:30pm as a lead in to Let It Shine.

  • Bryan S

@JR I’m only citing the info I read on sportsmediawatch. (Parapharasing here) They indicated that Heat vs Celtics had a near-record audience of 11.068M viewers; the 2nd highest viewership of all time on cable behind Heat vs Bulls last season. Last I looked 11.068 million viewers < 11.109M million viewers.

  • Crazy Eye Broyles (AJ)

People calling Game of Thrones boring could have easily known that it’s not all fighting all the time by simply reading the books. The books are from 800 to 1200 pages each and full of a lot of dialogue. I was kinda bummed when they cut a few of the fights out, and scaled back the battle of Blackwater some, but the show is still great. They have yet to cut out any important battles anyway. The battle where Tyrion gets knocked out instead is nothing really. Was just a diversion so they could go capture Jaime Lannister. And his capture wasn’t really a battle either so why waste money on it.

  • JR

Lol Sorry @BryanS, my comment was actually directed at alvin
