Game 5 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals between the Heat and the Celtics was the highest rated programming on cable Tuesday night with a 4.6 adults 18-49 rating and the SportsCenter that followed The Game was second for the night with a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating. Storage Wars came in third place, with a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating at both 10:00 and 10:30PM.

Decent numbers for Jane By Design. I hope those numbers stay steady. I was hoping having Pretty Little Liars as a lead-in would boost ratings, but it appears that it didn’t help it at all.
Well JBD & PLL are kinda a mismatched combo. Switched at Birth was a better pairing but it left much to be desired as a lead-in.
To be honest I only watched the JBD pilot and I was not that impressed with it. It all seemed so cliche. I didn’t keep watching because Dance Moms started the following week at the same time (which it is again this season). It seems like a very odd combo paired with PLL. The final season of Greek was paired with PLL and it was less than helpful with those ratings. Hopefully it gives JBD better results. It makes more sense when they have it with a show of similar nature like TLG.
Pretty Little Liars didn’t help The Lying Game that much. Everybody thought pairing those 2 up in the winter would significantly boost The Lying Game’s ratings, but it didn’t. The Lying Game averaged about 1.3-1.4 million viewers when it was paired with the Pretty Little Liars.

True. The Lying Game’s 1b finale actually got less viewers than the 1a finale. And 1a didn’t even have a lead-in!
If I were ABC Family I would’ve kept PLL and TLG together. Moved JBD behind TSLOAT. Took a risk and aired Switched and Bunheads together in the fall.
Not great for JBD.
I agree with everything being said about TLG. ABC Family waited too late to renew the show and a 10 month hiatus will lose a lot of viewers.

Great numbers for the NBA, but I am disappointed the Heat lost. C’mon guys, let’s get games 6 & 7!! I also enjoyed the RHOC. Great episode last night.
ABC Family didn’t kill Make it or Break it and they are not killing the Lying Game with the huge break. Make it or Break it never gained its own audience and lived off Secret Life. Now with Secret Life barely holding on, it really showed Make it or Break it never had its own audience and deserved cancellation. As for the Lying Game, the show regularly lost half of Pretty Little Liars lead-in. Its absolute ratings didn’t warrant another season. I don’t know why ABC Family keeps trying to make this show happen when its not.
Also, there are lots of cable shows that go on very long breaks. Just look at True Blood which only airs from June-September every year yet the audience always comes back to it.
Also good numbers for The Game, Rizzoli &Isles and I am happy that SVU does well even in repeats.
I am very glad Franklin & Bash is doing so badly. It’s an incredibly stupid show.

Man, I wish they had numbers for Total Drama: Revenge of the Island. If Level Up scored its highest ratings since its series premiere in January, then Total Drama: Revenge of the Island had to have done really good as a lead in.
