Looks like the ungrateful Michigan voters forgot Pres. Obama saved their auto industry…
http://www.freep.com/article/20120607/NEWS06/120607030/Poll-Barack-Obama-dead-heat-Mitt-Romney-Michigan-popularity-slips
Steve Perry,
I attended a big charity last night, President Obama knows that he is up for a big challenge due to the economy and it’s slow recovery. He enjoys the arrogance of Mitt Romney and the GOP especially after Wisconsin. But given the extent the GOP lies and deceives the public on the truth he is taking nothing for granted. The am confident that the wise majority of voters will not allow a radical extremist agenda to take over our country. Instead they will be held accountable for being against progress from day one, even during The Presidents inauguration.
let the righties celebrate, it’s only June. The tide will turn.
Romney is the worst possible candidate. Like almost “Palin” bad candidate…..almost.
Per Mr Coffee Steve,

@Jeff
That’s awesome…I wish I could’ve been there. I did receive the email from the campaign staff talking about the fundraising, so I did my part by donating $200. I normally only donate $25 or $50 a month but I’m going to step it up every month until November.
Like I told some of the righties on this site and others, the Walker win will be used by Obama’s campaign staff as a rallying cry and a wake-up call to ensure that supporters across the Country start donating more money and/or more frequently. This country can’t afford to go back to the Bush years again, so we have to do our part to make sure President Obama is re-elected. Needless to say, it would be catastrophic for our Country if Romney takes up residence in the oval office.
I’m new here so I have no comment however I do wonder why my words double space here is that normal on this page?
Sorry, never mind. I see that it straightens itself out when I submit. I look forward to voicing my opinions here.

Republicans poised to hold House, maybe win Senate
McClatchy
“The authoritative Rothenberg Political Report forecasts a Democratic pickup of fewer than 10 House seats. The Cook Political Report says the Democrats will gain between five and 15 seats.
Republicans should add two to five seats. The Republicans need to gain four seats to take a 51-49 majority and seize nominal control away from the Democrats. Rothenberg forecasts Republicans gaining two to four seats; Cook sees a gain of two to five. They still would be well short of the 60 votes needed to pass anything controversial.”
The Republicans squandered an impressive lead in the Senate if posters have been following Intrade. Their % of chances to win has dropped like a rock.

Democratic Senator George McGovern, has written how meddlesome and expensive regulations eventually killed his business. His article, What I Know Now: Nibbled to Death, tells the story of the former senator’s experience in purchasing and attempting to run a hotel:
What lesson did he learn? “… if I were back in the U.S. Senate or in the White House, I would ask a lot of questions before I voted for any more burdens on the thousands of struggling businesses across the nation.”
Nibbling to death sounds just like Cass Sunstein. It’s his modus operandi.
McGovern laments not asking questions. What about reading the bills first ?
*Labor Dept. counts trash men, oil lobbyists, bus drivers as ‘green jobs’
My favorite Green Job listed that counts as a New Green Job, are Groundskeepers, Cutting Grass, Hedges, hmmmm HEY…I took my hedges out last week, so does that mean I can apply to get paid because its a GREEN Job? Huh, huh?
150 days Till I get to “express” my vire of that one
@d.d.
They still would be well short of the 60 votes needed to pass anything controversial.”
Nah…Just envolke the Harry Reid Rule and all you need is 52…
Intrade, Their record isn’t to impressive d.d., and I’ll take Larry Sabato’s predictions before anyones, and he at this point in time, says its looking good for the GOP to take a solid advantage in the House and a decent control in the Senate. Early yes, and many things can change.
Pretty good article
Noonan: What’s Changed After Wisconsin The Obama administration suddenly looks like a house of cards.
What happened in Wisconsin signals a shift in political mood and assumption. Public employee unions were beaten back and defeated in a state with a long progressive tradition. The unions and their allies put everything they had into “one of their most aggressive grass-roots campaigns ever,” as the Washington Post’s Paul Whoriskey and Dan Balz reported in a day-after piece. Fifty thousand volunteers made phone calls and knocked on 1.4 million doors to get out the vote against Gov. Scott Walker. Mr. Walker’s supporters, less deeply organized on the ground, had a considerable advantage in money.
But organization and money aren’t the headline. The shift in mood and assumption is. The vote was a blow to the power and prestige not only of the unions but of the blue-state budgetary model, which for two generations has been: Public-employee unions with their manpower, money and clout, get what they want. If you move against them, you will be crushed.
Mr. Walker was not crushed. He was buoyed, winning by a solid seven points in a high-turnout race.

Off to Board of Realtors meeting!
BBL (pssssst! Coffee, your fly is open!)
“But given the extent the GOP lies and deceives the public on the truth he is taking nothing for granted”.
Like Clinton, John Edwards, Dan Rather, John Kerry, Howard Dean, … ouch…writer’s crap..!..
Sounds like someone has been watching Michael Moore movies.
To single out the GOP over Democrats as THE party that is doing all the lying discredits your name/posts even more.
I guess I could cite my claim but then I would be accused of being a cut & paste blogger.
@Ratboy
BBL (pssssst! Coffee, your fly is open!)
I’m wearing Pj’s silly, no fly on it
Romney now leads Obama in Michigan , Florida, North Carolina and Ohio
Dead heat in Virginia,Colorado
lights out for Obama , Romney wins a landslide
Steve Perry is the typical democrat. deny reality and hope it is true

I wish this was not a true story but…
*Ohio Democrat Secured a $1 million Earmark to Teach Kids to Meditate with Raisins
A student gazes at a raisin and holds it to their lips without eating it then they squeeze the raisin to hear its sound. By the time they actually eat the raisin they are aware of all of the sensory urges that it elicits. Apparently the awareness is the lesson.
@Coffee
I’ll take Larry Sabato’s predictions before anyones, and he at this point in time, says its looking good for the GOP to take a solid advantage in the House and a decent control in the Senate.
I respectfully disagree. I weigh Sabato, Charlie Cook, Nate Silver , & Stu Rothenberg. They all stay in my favorites & I follow them all religiously.
Sabato leans Right . Silver leans Left & Cook & Rothenberg are more neutral. There is a lot data to peruse, particularly in Cook.
As far as what is considered a green job, I posted the scathing video of Issa questioning this in a Congressional hearing , but, H.B., had beat me in commenting on it.

Montgomery County police union used felons to gather signatures in ballot drive
Washington Examiner
Montgomery County’s police union used felons, including a fugitive and a man convicted of forgery, to collect signatures for a ballot measure that would kill legislation reducing police collective bargaining rights, court documents show.
The felons were responsible for collecting signatures and certifying they were gathered legally.
The court is scheduled to rule June 18 on motions for summary judgment.

Kimberlin Update: ACLJ Joins The Fight-And So Does Rep Marchant
“Free speech is under attack,” said Jay Sekulow, ACLJ Chief Counsel. “Conservative writers are now facing threats against themselves, their families, and their livelihoods merely because they’ve aggressively investigated the history and funding of radical liberals.
The issue involves targeting a number of conservative bloggers with a dangerous and illegal tactic that’s become known as SWAT-ing – (making false 911 calls sending police to the homes of bloggers, claiming a crime has occurred.) The tactic is used in retaliation for posts the conservative bloggers have written.”
A letter has been sent to the Attorney General demanding an investigation into SWAT-tings.
Will the DOJ investigate? You decide.
