My source better than Ratboy’s. ;)

Joy Behar is headed to Current TV. CNN better watch out, Current TV will be beating them in the ratings soon. ;)

  • Hillbilly

Jeff – Scared??? No, just shocked at the amnesia of the general public towards what social conservatives do when they are in power

Did you even click on the link? It’s about guessing the ratings for the NBA Finals. Relax or you’ll blow a gasket.

    @Ratboy and dd
This very informative article from the Wall Street Journal that will better inform you guys.

“In fact, since the recession ended in June 2009, total U.S. debt has risen at the slowest pace

Did you read it but more importantly do you understand it? This is personal debt not government debt. It has been a know fact that people quit spending and strarted paying off debt. Even when Bush sent out checks to everyone there was some dissapointment because people did not spend it they paid of debt. That being said withing the last couple of month there has been report of some increased credit card debt.
Now lets look at this from this angle. You buy a car and finace and that causes debt, you buy a house and finace it it causes debt. If the debt is rising at a slow pace it could indicate that people are not making major purchases therefor the debt does not rise and with no major purchases it makes for a sluggish economy. Now on the government side, as we all know we have no worries that the administration is not spending enough hence the 15 trillion dollar debt.

Faith3 – One last thing Hillbilly, I didn’t mention Germany, Japan, Israel or India? Sorry my bad. I’m sure there are others doing well in the green industry.

    Define “doing well?”

  • Ratboy

I gotta see if I can help a family incur some debt!

87 House Republicans Sign Letter Demanding DOJ Investigate Recent “SWAT-ings”

The republicans are doing nothing but running out the clock here. Do nothing until November while collecting massive government salaries in the process.

  • Hillbilly

This whole one POTUS is radical vs another didn’t have a well defined meaning of radical…IE it’s subjective to each person’s view. Faith3 said something to PaulG like Hillbilly hasn’t showed this that & the other. I can say i gave 4 examples of Nobama being a radical & Faith3 has given 1 example (Nixon’s HC plan) of a radical republican POTUS. Now she wants proof of my opinions. I never claimed my opinions are facts.

Then i show the student loan program was taken over by the govt (radical in my view) and Faith3 decides she needs to define a private lender to me. I must be clear stupid to not know what a private lender is. It came down to guaranteed & non-guaranteed loans. Then claimed the banks were making a killing (without addressing they were providing a service) and provides CBO numbers to make her point. Those are predictions & DID NOT show the banks were making a killing. Using her “style/method” of debate i want to see the banks balance sheets showing how much they made on the student loan program.

I gave her a complement awhile back (saying PaulG could debate the complex economic issues) & in my view its went to her head. She wanted to talk about capital controls. I said sounds like more govt control over private money. Her reply yes, but its complicated. No its not! Either your for more govt control or your not. She believes & has faith in the fed govt to run things. I DON’T! She thinks there’s a comparison to protecting the environment like some in the past is comparable to Nobama’s protecting the environment regulations. I DON’T! She thinks the lead paint & asbestos industries are comparable to the coal industry. I DON’T!

Still waiting on the proof the Nobama regs don’t effect the current coal fired plants. They give a grace period to some to avoid rolling black out & keep the grid safe. Eventually it effects them all.

“Private Jobs Down 4.6 Million From January 2008; Federal Jobs Up 11.4%”

    @Steve Perry
I’m sorry but wasn’t Bush still in office during that time? That’s what I thought.
    – – –

Absolutely , &, I wasn’t a fan of Bush either. Yet, it is almost halfway through 2012 & that gives Obama the job loss bingo with 3 1/2 years in the job.

….. The reason I show Broadcast numbers is because the vast majority of Americans don’t even watch cable news and that the vast majority of Americans watch Broadcast news and get their news from online news sites.

You leave me scratching my head. Have you ever had a statistics course ? Comparison are likes to likes , not likes to somewhat likes. Your point is accurate online news is growing & all cable news is down but their revenues are up . You’re right . Alphabet news is watched by more people . Advertisers learn to back off when the market reaches a saturation point. That’s when their message isn’t heard any more. That’s why advertisers are always changing commercials. Hint: Your message has reached a saturation point . Move on.

  • Steve Perry

-Yes and the point is that debt in that sector is decreasing and that’s always good.

“You leave me scratching my head. Have you ever had a statistics course ? Comparison are likes to likes , not likes to somewhat likes. Your point is accurate online news is growing & all cable news is down but their revenues are up”

-Yes, my degree is in Business and I’ve taken two statistics courses along the way. I’ve never interjected revenues into the argument. My statement has always been that the more Americans watch Broadcast news (ABC, NBC, CBS) than Cable news. What is the importance of that? Well, more Americans are watching news that is slanted to the Left. So that whole apples vs oranges thing goes out the window because what is being looked at is the total number of Americans that are watching. I hope that helps you understand a little better.

  • d.d.

    Steve Perry

I wouldn’t argue with you that more peple watch news slanted to the left either. Move on please.

  • Steve Perry

^Wow…I think we just had a breakthrough…lol. I’m glad you recognize that…a lot of people don’t.

  • Jeff

yes Ratboy I stand by my posts the number are factual, look at Apple for example and how much friggin $$$ they have, oh and how many American jobs do they provide??? You would be shocked. Mostly in China for various reasons. That’s just one example. Stop spinning dude!! Another small example and also very true in many cases as we speak, Our Govt can put people to work on construction projects putting money in their pockets to buy goods and services, duh.

DB sorry, you can’t understand. :(

Hillbilly, yes saw the link, sorry my post hurt you feelings. :)

  • Jeff

Great post, yes the President needs to run against the WORST do nothing Republican congress in history. Certainly can’t hurt him.
