  • RON

    great to see dallas on tv again after all these years. jr and bobby ewing were great together. used to watch the show every week, ill be watching dallas all summer.

  • Raykov

    @Marcos – try with 3 DH alums

  • NEK5552

    I can not wait for this to, I am hoping it is a huge hit and lasts for years. I can’t wait. This is my favorite series. It was before I could remember, but I watch all the reruns when it use to be on TNN and I feel in love with the series. I am psy about tnt bringing it back.

  • Lisa

    I don’t care about the newbies, but I am very excited about seeing J.R., Sue Ellen, and the others again.

  • Justin121

    Is this a reboor, or a continuation?

  • Bob

    Looks great!!!! I will be watching!

  • LisaM

    Heard they might bring Lucy Ewing, Cliff Barnes and Ray Krebs back too.Didn’t they make another show with the grown kids of JR and Bobby that failed? The old cast must have lots of screen time for this to make it.

    I don’t know about the next generation of Ewings but the old gang looks to be in fine form. I expect a great premier number that should give them plenty of time to iron out any glitches (if they exist). In the long run though I think the new guys are going to need to be compelling characters in their own right so here’s hoping they can hold their own with the original crew. Fingers crossed.

  • RS

    I too am looking forward to this. I was around for the original (I’m old). I won’t violate the Gunsmoke Rule, but the “Who Shot JR?” plot was epic in its time. I think the show was one of the first night-time soap operas. I agree that the old cast should have a lot of screen time, but the newbies’ characters and acting must be able to hold their own in order for this to succeed. I hope for the best, and I’m grateful for the cable channels and some scripted programming (waiting for White Collar) in the sea of realityTV-crowded summer.

  • TV Gord

    @Justin121, it’s a continuation. A sequel.

  • TV Gord

    @LisaM, Lucy and Ray are in the first episode this week, and Cliff will be on the following week. (According to ultimatedallas.com)

  • Good to See Whitney Back

    I keep on hearing from the people who have already seen the pilot how good it is so that’s keeping me amped up for watching it on Wednesday.

  • Dontryl Alexander

    JR Ewing for Texas Governor!

  • Richard Steven Hack

    This show might not be bad mostly due to the fact that the old cast is in it as well as the new young actors.

    And I am amazed at how good Linda Gray still looks at SEVENTY-ONE!

    Looking forward to eyeballing Brenda Strong, Julie Gonzalo and Jordana Brewster in their bras and panties, too! :-)

    I still remember some of the best scenes in the old Dallas, such as Pam pushing J.R. in the pool, and J.R. messing around with Bing Crosby’s hot daughter, Mary – who was the one who shot him.

  • Debsafan

    Looking forward to the new Dallas. Hope it can hold a candle to the old one.

  • Walter Bishop

    THE MAN FROM ATLANTIS is back – thats a plus and of course Hagman isnt looking half bad for his age. They should have Barbara Eden (also looks decent for her 77 years)go a guest spot at some point in an episode with Larry. Will give it a try since its a short summer series.

  • Mark

    I can’t believe I set the recorder for the wrong day $#@! Is there any place where I can watch the past Wednesday’s episode??? Or will TNN rerun it???
    THANKS!!!!!
