The NBA Playoffs: Conference Finals with the Heat vs. Celtics was the most-watched program on cable last night, earning a 4.8 rating among adults 18-49, followed by SportsCenter, which scored a 2.5 rating. Swamp People was the number three program, earning a 1.4 rating among adults 18-49.
We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our primary source. If you don't see your show it wasn't in that top 100 list.
The list below is long but you can use your browsers "find on page" feature (usually CTRL+F or CMD+F) to search - that's probably the easiest way to find last night's episode of Impact Wrestling.

@Matt: The Ridiculousness at 11:30 wasn’t new and probably shouldn’t have been in the headline (I’ve removed it). unfortunately we don’t get any indication with cable ratings about whether they’re repeats as we do with broadcast.
Punk’d and Pauly D Project didn’t make our initial list but Punk’d scored 909,000 viewers and a 0.2 A18-49 rating at 10p and Pauly D had 1.094M viewers and a 0.3 A18-49.
Both TNA and WWE are both crap. But TNA is even deeper poo because they can’t tell a story properly. Thus why their viewership is down. WWE for whatever reason don’t care. But they seem to turn it on when Viewership goes down to almost poor levels.
I don’t know what you have been watching Stephen but TNA for the past 9 months has been top notch TV programing. I really think the reason the numbers are down is because of the new time slot and the word of mouth about the past TNA product when it was crap. Try watching the product atm
The NBA rating is going to be crazy and Saturdays don’t really matter for big sporting events like it does for other programs. This is a potential elimination game for the Heat so people will definitely watch it. I’d say between 12-15 million but the Stanley Cup Finals are on also that may detract close to a million viewers.
I think the honest and true wrestling fans know that TNA is the better wrestling product right and has been for a few months now. Anybody disputing this is what they call a WWE mark (TNA hater) or just hasn’t even truly watched TNA to even know. I love both TNA and WWE b/c I’m just a wrestling fan in general but TNA has been way better and WWE is so terrible right now which is why its ratings have sunk lately.
I think TNA doing live shows is going to benefit them in the future as I think once the NBA Finals are over it will be open season in July for the basketball fans to sample TNA. TNA’s new timeslot might be too early also but they have them on early to transition Bellator in 2013.
I’m expecting a huge jump in the ratings for TNA after the Finals are over.
@Dallas wrestling is for kids. As a basketball fan, no thanks. You guys probably still beleive in Santa and the tooth fairy
anything for WE TV’s “LA Hair”???
I have watch. Every week. And it is a mess. OFN does nothing to build up story lines, but oh wait why does that matter when there is only one story line currently going on and another that I could care less for.
I stick by what I said before WWE and TNA are both crap, but WWE knows how to get people talking and watching when they want to, while TNA doesn’t. The time slot isn’t the problem, the lack of writing is for both shows, especially TNA.
@Oliver
You think .9 is “buoyant” for Men at Work? Being beaten by a 2 or 3 year old repeat of TBBT which ushers it in? On one of the most popular cable networks? On USA, that would be a pretty gloomy rating and likely to get you canceled. I don’t think so.
@JAson
it appears vast majority of American fans don’t agree. But then we’re talking about sports fans, not circus fans. Don’t know how wrestling would do opposite Three Stooges reruns. BTW, dial down the ‘roids, sport: the whites of your eyes are showing.
I don’t know if it’s a good or bad thing that Men at Wirk got the same rating as Apt 23 repeat from Wednesday night at the same time? Interesting though
I think TBS knows that TBBT does ridiculous numbers for a repeat il sure they don’t expect their new or returning show to automatically match or out perform those repeats.
That would almost (almost being key word) be like ABC expecting their comedies to match or better Modern Family ratings. Or CBS expecting a post TBBT comedy to match/beat its repeat numbers. TBBT hasn’t gotten a 3.0 for a repeat not ever comedy is going to beat that but a 2.4 may still be acceptable in certain situations

Yes a show written for smart people is less watched than a show about blackmen trying to throw a ball into a hoop.
NBA is a retarded sport, none of those players could last a day in my business via pro wrestling.
====================
Hahaha. Funniest comment of the year thus far. An adult whose favorite sport is choreographed fighting has no right to berate guys shooting a ball through a large circle. Even if basketball is in the bottom two sports on the planet, your TNA is dead last.
The guy who posted that comment is a troll and it is always best to ignore them because that infuriates them more than anything someone could say to them.
A basketball vs. wrestling vs. WWE vs. TNA debate really?
Why can’t we just like basketball and wrestling? Why do we have to choose?
I just want to be entertained don’t care if their scripted or not.
just wondering why the nba championship is on cable and hockey, which gets much lower ratings, is on network tv…think they would reverse that…
@s030 ….I suspect because the networks weren’t willing to pay what TNT/ESPN was willing to pay — but there’s little strong competition for hockey.
It was bad enough when people would have ridiculous arguments about Hawaii 5-0 vs. Castle. Now we have people arguing about staged wrestling? Really people?
“@s030 ….I suspect because the networks weren’t willing to pay what TNT/ESPN was willing to pay “
That.
That.
Not exactly. Pretty sure that in reality Disney pays one (huge) sum for the rights and that it could air all the playoff games on ABC instead of ESPN. But even more sure that Disney covets ESPN’s mighty carriage fees and knows it’s important to justify them
Yeah by putting the games on ESPN the carriage fees go up in turn the cable companies and Disney makes more money by having the games on cable than over the air broadcasting. That’s one of the reasons why Monday Night Football is on ESPN instead of ABC.
