On FOX, the premiere of Take Me Out  earned a 1.3  18-49 rating, but was beaten in its time-period by a repeat of The Big Bang Theory. Update: in time zone adjusted ratings The Choice was adjusted up to a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating.

On ABC,  Duets  scored a 1.2 rating, down three tenths from last week's 1.5  adults 18-49 rating and producing its lowest series ratings to date.   Rookie Blue garnered a 1.3 rating, down a tenths from last week's 1.4 rating among adults 18-49.

On the CW, the second episode of reality series Breaking Pointe earned a 0.2, down a tenth from last week's 0.3 adults 18-49 rating.

On NBC, the premiere of Saving Hope earned a 0.7 rating. Rock Center with Brian Williams also earned a 0.7 rating.

Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

I can’t wait for my guilty summer pleasure to come on !!!!! Big Brother !!

  • John green

Saving Hope too poor to mediocre actors! Must comply with all the criticism we live in a democratic and free !

  • A

    DEADD @ this comment

@Sid Why spin awful ratings? Ill leave that to you for Nikita in the fall.

    So true.

  • June

POI is so great, I can’t wait for next season. This show is going to be a monster. Repeats numbers are better than the ones for other cbs dramas.

  • Michael

The genius of Mike Darnell strikes again! LMAO

  • RyanCanada

Anyone hating on Saving Hope is delusional, it did poorly YES, but is a well done show, great acting, but its on NBC, so preformance wise, did we expect anything different? NO drama on NBC has succeeded in the last two years, im not understanding why tho…

  • Kate

Too bad about Saving Hope, it deserved better. Certainly a better show than Rookie Blue.

I guess it’s not the time for medical shows any more.

  • carla

Watching POI repeats is an easy choice: clearly the best drama on TV (and that comes from a fan of Homeland and Game of Thrones). Getting a chance to re-watch POI for additional clues is a pure pleasure.

CBS cleaning up the ratings with a full roster of reruns is good news for the fall schedule. The network will dominate Thursday nights next season with POI set to be the top drama for a second year in a row

  • David Howell

So a rip-off gets the press attention and does way better than a proven format in the same genre. I suppose that bodes well for the Glass House premiere. ;)

  • Nadine

I love it that the rerun of TBBT outdid everything else. Wit rules.

  • Nadine

Let’s hope The Choice’s disappointing ratings are the end of FU programming. It really does make Fox look like a poor loser.

  • Nadine

With a Game 7 tomorrow (Saturday), ESPN will likely be the most-watched network in prime-time, cable or broadcast, this week. It may be the first time that’s ever happened.
well in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, anyway :-) But yeah, considering the rabid fanship in NE, you might be right.

  • BringbacktheNBCofold

Does anybody know how Awake did in it’s premiere episode as compared Saving Hope?

  • Holly

    @Bringback…

Awake premiered with a 2.0, so significantly better than Saving Hope. (Of course, it didn’t stay anywhere near that for long)

  • Sid

    @John A

If you say so; but we both know that you take every opportunity you can to talk crap about Nikita.

  • christy

I like Erica Durance. she was good in Smallville’ She was also good in Staregate
    SG-1.

  • bluone

Person of Interest is the ONLY show I can watch in reruns !! It’s such a great show !

  • hubert_wentland

PoI is gonna grow out of this world having such a great lead-in. so obviously thursday will be the strongest day for CBS. but won’t monday tank without it’s highest rated show? (though it was outrated by 2BG once. only.)

  • Nick

    Ouch@ Saving Hope. I expected somewhere between 1.0-1.4. :-(
At least it improved on its lead-in…

The Choice may survive, but Take Me Out is dead. FOX certainly didn’t like it that much. During both Hell’s Kitchens this week and Monday’s Masterchef, I saw 7 ads for The Choice but only 3 for Take Me Out. This is why Fringe fans hate you, FOX. lol

  • Barbarossa

I only watched the choice for Cat Deely. I regret it.
