    Nikita still did better than the CW’s originals and a TVD repeat, and oh surprise… on Friday!

  • rob60990

    So much for all the hype that Whitney did so well…

  • John A

    Nikita did well. New ep 0.4 and repeat a 0.3 is weird. Fox are doing awful. 0.5 and 0.6 lol

  • Diego

    Nikita Over supernatural :o

  • MJDB

    @rob60990

    At least Whitney tied The Office and Parks and Recreation repeats in un-hyped timeslots, and Whitney was on Friday so actually agreed at first, but now it didn’t turn out so bad.

    Friday Final Averages

    Million Viewers = 3.36 Million Viewers
    18-49 Demo Average = 0.7 Average

  • Little Darlings

    Whitney still looks like a monster like MJDB said in unhype timeslots considering baseball pre-empted the show this past week.

    Nikita looks like it repeats the best on The CW right now.

  • DougF

    lol at nikita fans gloating about repeats

  • thesnowleopard

    @Diego
    Repeating slightly better in the audience once than the show that comes on after it won’t get it taken off Fridays. Nikita could repeat better than SPN in both the audience and the demo all summer long and it wouldn’t matter, especially since the 8pm shows are supposed to have higher ratings than 9pm shows in the first place. Its first-run ratings still suck and that’s why it’s still on Fridays, renewal or no.

    @Diego and thesnowleopard
    Also, Supernatural was a few hours in Chicago because of a baseball game. So viewers who may have otherwise watched might have missed it. This is kind of a moot point because the demos are the same. As we’ve all heard a million times, viewers don’t matter (see: Harry’s Law)

  • David

    @thesnowleopard

    Why would you think they want the show off Friday? They are just doing what typical fans do over there shows. I would think any fan wouldn’t mind which night it is on as long as it is renewed. The crazy thing is that we have many ways to watch shows and people still talk about dates like that is something on importance anymore. All you need is the show to air and you can watch it anytime you want, but a show that does not air can’t ever be watched.

    STFU before I turn you into the-extinctleopard!

    Ah, I wondered if there was a preemption, since it does break the usual pattern. And it’s true that only the demo matters. I’d say that repeat ratings don’t matter, but this summer is a bit different on the CW. Any non-summer programming that repeats well is going to be kept on and everything else probably won’t be back until fall.

    @David
    They care because the ratings are lower on Fridays (in part due to the many preemptions) and that’s where shows are sent to die. And because, regardless of how well Nikita does in repeats this summer, SPN is moving to Wednesdays this fall.

    And since the only ratings that matter are what a Nielsen family watches that same night, yeah, it does matter when they watch it and how.

    @N I K I T A
    Do grow up. I’m sure I’ll still be here long after you’ve moved on to troll some other playground.

  • Lion

    What patterns do you even talk about we All know you are a Nikita hater and just for your information Nikita was also preempted idiot.

  • N I K I T A

    No one here(besides you) mentioned that we want Nikita off of Fridays. Why do you have the need to bring that up?

    Everyone here is just surprised that a Nikita repeat(which like you said doesn’t matter) did better than a Supernatural repeat. It means absolutely nothing.

    But you obviously feel the need to come on here and rain on everyones’ parade because your “baby Supernatural” lost to Nikita by a few viewers.

    The same way you fangirls gloat over Supernatural every ******* week, the same way Nikita fans react.

    Stop hating and move on! Congratz to SPN on moving to Wednesdays. If it’s lucky, it’ll only be there for one Season. After The CW has used it to launch Arrow and if it’s a success; without a doubt Supernatural will move back to Fridays and The CW will launch new shows out of Arrow the same way they do with Vampire Diaries.

    Much Love, xx

    N I K I T A ;)

  • Lion

    N I K I T A. Do you think Nikita will be moved to 8pm on friday then in season 4 if it does not work for SPN?

  • N I K I T A

    @Lion

    Don’t know, but no way The CW keeps Supernatural on Wednesdays if Arrow is launched successfully. Supernatural is an aging show and The CW is all about business.

    If Arrow turns out to be a hit, they’ll move Supernatural so that they can use Arrow as a launch pad for as many shows as they can.

  • Lion

    Where do you see Nikita go then because i am almost sure they want to keep Nikita for it to reach syndication numbers maybe even more years. Because of the critical praise and overseas sales Nikita has

  • N I K I T A

    It will remain on Fridays. It’s obvious The CW wants to keep Nikita “at least” until it reaches syndication and with its low ratings, Friday is the only place for it.

    I’m just happy I’ll have the show to watch. It being on Friday doesn’t bother me one bit.
