   The five will hit the 2 million mark and higher as soon as the conventions roll around, 80% of the public don’t even know whose running until then.

   ***Over half of the banks that got money did not need it to stay in business, the rest should have been allowed to fail without “Any” Bailout. If they had let them fail and no money handed out, the recession would be a memory by now, and there would be jobs galore…

   *_ Patriot Coal, a mining company based in St. Louis, closed a mine in Kentucky, idled several others in Kentucky and West Virginia, and has cut 1,000 jobs. The company’s stock has fallen below $2, down from nearly $25 a year ago, and the company’s CEO, Richard Whiting, was replaced at the end of May. (1,000 Jobs Lost)

   I could list hundreds more, but I won’t bore you. Not to mention again that Electric Rates could double very soon.

   So if you live in West Virgina, Virgina, Kentucky, The Carolina’s, PA, and any other Coal Producing states, would you be in agreement with this? The Coal Companies as soon as the conventions get started have a series of ad’s that will run in those States. Watch for them to have a huge impact on the Election.

   Did you read the ‘Opinion ‘ piece in the Washington Post you posted ? It was based on the debunked article from Marketwatch we discussed here a week or so ago

   The Washington Post gave their own writer ‘Three Pinocchios ,’ for his story ( or more accurately Marketwatch’s story).

   Taxpayers foot bill for free government cell phones + 250 Minutes a Month

   We all knew most of this story , but ,

   to view your share, just check your monthly phone bill for “Federal Universal Service Charge.”

   The cost of the program is now more than $1.6 billion dollars a year.

   The Dayton Daily News investigated the program and said it is so commonly abused that 26,500 Ohioans last November were notified they are violating the rules. Poor oversight is the usual villain, and that’s the case here. Phones are going to people who don’t qualify and many others have more than one phone.

   The newspaper said the FCC has identified 269,000 people in 12 states who are suspected of abusing the system

   In recent months, the FCC has started cracking down after the agency found 400,000 people received multiple phones.

   I found this story in the Economic Policy Journal yesterday.

   State Department Pays $6,600 per Kindle for 2,500 Kindles

   The purchase works out to a cost of $6,600 per reader. No doubt there may be extra support and software that comes with these Kindles, but $6,000 plus worth? Kindle’s on Amazon’s web page now sell for between $79 and $379.

   Is this a procurement horror story reminiscent of years past that saw the Defense Department by claw hammers for $435, toilet seats for $640 and coffee makers for $7,600? It sure smells like it. But don’t expect the State Department to own up to it.

   While none of us dis-agree with switching Coal Power over to Natural Gas, the process should be spread over a ten to fifteen year period. If they did that Energy cost would actually decrease, Natural Gas, is indeed the future, and is cleaner by far, but it is insane to try and do this over a 2 year period that they are wanting to do.

   The economy is in the dumps, people out of jobs, and no-one has desposable income for Gas much less doubling Electric rates.

   By the way d.d., The EPA is now wanting for everyone that even wishes to dig a ditch on their own land to have to get permission, and a possible fee to dig even a small ditch. They have gone insane.

   I think I can finally comment. Last night Idiot Colmes was on OReilly and they were talking about the Fast and Furious investigation. When I heard this I got so darn mad I could not think straight! Clown Colmes said that the Fast and Furious investigation was nothing more than a right wing “Witch Hunt” against Obama!

   Now I have to take another deeeeep breath! I want to be the one that takes that flaming idiot by the hand and lead him into a room where he will be face to face with Brian Terry’s family. Then I want him to tell THEM all about the “Witch Hunt”!!!! and at that point I want to watch as the Terry family SLAPS THE STUPID OUT OF COLMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    IMO, Eric Holder is as corrupt as an appointed official can get. He is the leading law enforcement official in the United States, yet he has lied under oath, brought un-lawful lawsuits against States Rights, Committed Perjury. He has been subpoenaed and defies the law on that as well. I say forget the contempt proceedings and start impeachment.

    Seriously everyone, this should not be a right or left issue, Holder has degraded the office of USAG, Moral is down in the department, and how can anyone have confidence in the Justice Department if they themselves, do not recognize the law?

    I am getting a bit tired of Shep too. Also he is looking sick imo.

    I have never had a problem with Shep leaning left, and while many even in here have said over the years he was leaning right in his opinions, (Which anyone in the press business has always known he was a liberal) my beef with Shep is he in now trying to create news and not just report it as he used to.

    He interjects his thoughts in almsot every story, and no one cares what his opinion is, he is supposed to, as a news person and journalist, simply report and as the catch phrase says, let US decide. His in not opinion shows, his is supposed to be reporting shows.

    I would very much like Shep to go bye bye and have him replaced with John Roberts who is as good as a reporter as there is. Yes, Roberts leans left, but in his reports, you never, ever see or hear that in his stories.

    I know it is not in a democrats dna to face the facts but your boy Obama is a failure, plain and simple. Romney wins in a landslide, and democrats will be in the minority for at least a generation were they belong.

    The Five to take Sheps place is a great idea. John Roberts is good also. Either would be better. I had thought Shep was looking sick for a long time but lately he looks a little better to me.
    When will CNN get rid of Early Start/Starting Point? MHOO, that is the worst program on CNN. Switch the channel immediately when Solidad OBrien comes on. I wonder when she will do a program White in America?

    Too late, he has lost 40% of the Jewish vote even in New York. Not to mention Israel isn’t stupid, nor the Jewsish people in America.

    Look, I know Pres Obama has a right to not be as much of a pro Israel person as the public thinks he should be, but the stupid games has to stop, I don’t think he is totally anti-Israel, but he does need to be on the up and up and tell them and the voting public why, and how, and what he truly stands for.

    But this he is 100% pro-Israel is demeaning to everyone when all the facts are he has went against them more than other presidents. Now that’s cool if so, because he is the President and has a right to govern with them as he thinks he should, but the pretending in just plain Dumb.
