Fox should so move these to Thursday so they’re away from AGT.
So they aren’t the lowest rated Stanley Cup ever?
Yay HK + Masterchef. Even better than before!
If it isn’t the lowest rated finals ever, it has to be pretty damn close.
FOX Hell’s Kitchen 2.8/9 6.25
ABC The Bachelorette (8-10PM) 2.3/7 7.43
NBC 2012 Stanley Cup Final (8-11PM) Live 2.0/6 4.93

Quick Matty – say it ain’t so!!!! Hell’s Kitchen and the Batchelorette!!!!!
I know these must be ‘fast ratings’ that may adjust a bit up – at least I hope so
Nice demo increase for Stanley Cup. Hockey’s never going to be a big sport in US, but congrats to the LAKings and their fans.
Happy that the SCF managed to crack a 2.0. A game 7 would have easily matched last years game 7 numbers.
Mondays have now become the biggest battle ground after NBC moved it’s talent shows there. In comparison Thursdays are quite dull with little competition this summer. Even Wednesdays are lame too.
But given how little the absence of AGT impacted the other shows, you can be sure that AGT has it’s own type of audience.
Oh lookee – almost made 5 million – the NHL IS ONA ROLLL!!!
NBA Finals start today. It would be interesting to see how small market OKC affects the ratings.
ECF ended with 13mil viewers. that was insane.
Congratulations to LA and the die hard Kings fans who have been waiting 45 years for the cup to come there. I went to LA a few years ago and I ran into more Kings fans than any of the city’s other teams outside of the Lakers. Their are some die hards out there and I feel for them on this one.
Good rating for the cup on NBC, this was really the first true chance NBC had any chance of getting anything out of the series. Lately I’ve been wanting to see the NHL get to a 7th game everytime just to see the numbers go up even more and I wonder what this series would’ve scored. Hopefully next year the NHL gets a better draw out of the East.

Good stuff from the NHL I always knew the NBA was handicapping its numbers. If the NHL can find a way to keep the Stanley Cup Finals away from the NBA next season they might be able to get these numbers on a regular basis.
I definitely think one of the draws should get in next year like the Penguins, Blackhawks, Capitals, Rangers, Flyers, Bruins, or Red Wings need to get in there next season.
Chef Ramsey is a BEAST! This man has got ratings power for reality TV.
Looks like L.A. came out to see there team win it. So that’s avoids the 2nd worst Stanley cup ratings set in 2006.
PUCK MEDIA REPORTED THIS:
The last game of the Stanley Cup Final was the first to have an increase in overnights.
Game 6 of the Devils/Kings Stanley Cup Final drew a 4.0 overnight rating on NBC Monday night, up a tick from Canucks/Bruins Game 6 last year (3.9), but down 31% from Blackhawks/Flyers Game 6 on a Wednesday night in 2010 (5.8).
The 4.0 is easily the highest of the Kings/Devils series. In addition, this marks the first time in the series that any game has had an increase in overnights compared to last year.
Game 6 drew a 13.6 rating in Los Angeles, which according to Puck the Media is the highest on record in the market. The 13.6 marks a 55% increase over Saturday’s Game 5 (8.8), and an 86% increase from Devils/Mighty Ducks Game 6 in 2003 (7.3), the last time an L.A. team played in a Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final.
Of note, the 13.6 in Los Angeles equals 757,000 television homes. By comparison, Game 6 of Bruins/Canucks last year drew 819,000 homes (33.3 rating) in Boston, and the Bruins’ series-clinching Game 7 win drew 1.068 million homes (43.4 rating).
The game drew a 5.0 rating in New York, up 4% from Game 5 (4.8), but down 14% from Devils/Mighty Ducks Game 6 in ’03 (5.6), which was also the last Game 6 to involve a New York team. The 5.0 rating is the second-highest of the series in New York.
(Monday’s overnight and local L.A./N.Y. numbers from Puck the Media)
Anyone notice that a Breaking Pointe repeat did 50% better than the original! Crazy CW
@Torrid
The fast ratings came out more than 8 hours ago. These are the final ratings.
For those of you interested in Revolution, I was able to watch the pilot and is AMAZING. If you loved Lost, this one is even better.
Wow last years game 7 scored a 43.4 HH rating in Boston. Forgot how big hockey is in that market.
How can M&M and H50 have the same number of viewers 5.77 but demo’s 1.4 and
1.2? That doesn’t make any since?
