True Blood was the number one cable program on Sunday night, earning a 2.9 adults 18-49 rating, down from a 3.0 for last year's season premiere on June 26, 2011. NASCAR Sprint Cup came in second place with a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating.

We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our principal source. If you don’t see an original episode of a show here, it’s because it wasn’t in the top 100.

The list below is long but you can use your browsers "find on page" feature (usually CTRL+F or CMD+F) to search - that's probably the easiest way to find Girls.

Update: Lots of additional data (including some Saturday shows) from commenter Nick is below the table as well as in the comments.

    @Melanie but when they constantly talk about her on the show, in each confessional, and behind her back, that gets very repetitive. They are just mad at her because they envy her popularity and are jealous of the fact that Teresa has gained so much recognition and fame. Teresa is the real star of the show, and the only reason it gets good ratings. If Teresa wasn’t on that show, they would have no show. So if you are getting sick of her, don’t watch it. And by the way, YES, they are ganging up on her.

  • Madeline

    People keep taking swipes at Mad Men. Remember, Mad Men is s critical accalim award show darling. So yes, it may not be getting Walking Dead ratings but it’s getting AMC awards all over the place.

    That is why The Killing will be left out in the cold. Not only does it suck in the ratings but it’s not even an award show darling like Breaking Bad or Mad Men.

    The creator of the Killing botched her own show by not revealing the killer last season. Nuff said.

    @joss

    Thanks for the Breaking Bad Promo!! Can’t Wait

  • Rodrigo Gutierrez

    Mad Men ended strong — yippee!!! :)
    As did Veep.

    Hoping for good numbers for The Killing and The Big next weekend.

  • Boliii

    It’s funny how Mad Men gets worse ratings (both overall and 18-49 ratings) than an animated show.

    Legend of Korra is really good, high quality and aimed at older people, so it’s obvious why.

  • William

    of course the Killing will rise next week. You FINALLY find out who killed Rosie Larsen (maybe) so anyone saying next week will define or make or break the series is delusional. All the pissed off people (myself included) that skipped the entire season will watch to finally see what happens.

  • disney rocks

    i don’t watch saturday and sunday cations- but what’s your guys favorite- GL, T, YJ:I, LOK, S, TPOM, Ultimate spider man, TA: EMH?

    Also, I think cartoon network should expand Dc Nation; get wonder woman a show

  • LJ

    True Blood was just as terrible as last season. But Skarsgard showed his ass so the ladies will still tune in for that. The only reason I continue to watch is for the occasional comedy, both intentional and unintentional, as that is all this show is good for anymore. Thank God for Pam.

  • Lord Seth

    To clarify: In the additional telecasts listed at the bottom, is the number given before the “A18-49″ the total number of viewers in that demographic, or is that the rating (percentage) of people in that demographic watching?

  • Andy

    True Blood, Veep and Girls are all fantastic, and their ratings remain consistent. They’ve found their audience and retained them. Well done.

  • Sports Preemption

    @ Lord Seth

    It’s total numbers of viewers.

  • Lord Seth

    @ disney rocks

    YIKES! Thought Victorious would get 3 million. Nick really needs to better promotion. All 3 new episodes on Saturday on Nick were beat by a new Shake it up and a repeat of Shake It Up. That’s bad cause victorious is a way better show. And saturdays episode was good.

    The big problem with Nickelodeon is its highly erratic schedule in airing new episodes. This previously was compensated for–at least for their more popular shows like iCarly, Victorious, and Big Time Rush–by them spamming advertisements whenever there was a new episode. But that seems to have been dropped; I watched Korra that day and don’t recall any commercials for iCarly or Victorious. If Nickelodeon airs their shows at random and doesn’t bother to advertise them, it’s not hard to see why they’re not doing so well with their new episodes.

  • jon

    Suprised Borgias not doing better. Nurse Jackie imho has lost its edge, can understand losing viewers, but Borgias such a quality production….

  • CCV

    I’m still amazed at the number of people that drone on about how much Mad Men sucks when they preface their “argument” by saying they’ve never seen an episode of the show. Mob Wives and the Kardashians and CSI get monster ratings (to use cable and network examples), but who can possibly admit with a straight face that those are truly quality shows that are worth your time and brain cells?

    Idiots use the argument of ratings=quality. To use an example I always use…if ratings actually do equal quality, I guess that means The Wire sucked, huh. (That’s sarcasm, for those same idiots whose attempts that making an “objective argument” prove they are either children or horribly developmentally challenge adults). And, also to those same idiots, cable ratings are going to vastly differ from network, and even then from cable station to cable station. To state that a show is horrible because of its ratings is not only ignorant (completely missing the point), but blatantly false. Ratings are economics, not artistic merit. Many of the greatest shows in history have suffered through low ratings, oftentimes getting cancelled because general audiences don’t want to put any intellectual energy into their entertainment, a phenomenon that’s only getting worse. Look at the best selling books right now. Every single one of them is horribly written schlock, amateurish at best, designed to offer the reader nothing but the instant gratification of a microsecond, if that. The exact same trend can be seen on television and in Hollywood, specially BECAUSE of the kind of idiots who do not and cannot understand that low ratings might simply be because most people are too lazy to watch something that will challenge them in the least, people just like them. You know, because that’s the truth, and there’s mountains of empirical evidence to back that up. Unlike, “the ratings are low that show sucks whatever people who like that just wanna seem smart its terrible!”

  • CCV

    @jon…

    I’m bothered by The Borgias’ ratings too, but Showtime must like it enough, because it already has its third season. Bringing Weeds to a close might clear up some money that could give them wiggle room next year to possibly renew it again–I’m sure the cast on Weeds must have been making decent paychecks, considering how long it’s been on. At any rate, I really hope it picks up more viewers somehow, at least a couple hundred thousand, inch it closer to 1 mil. The production costs it must have scare the hell out of me, in terms of renewal/cancellation next season. I know it can’t be anywhere near GoT…possibly closer to what Rome cost, though? Showtime can’t have the same kind of money HBO has, though. The sets and costumes and Irons have to cost a pretty penny.

  • huldu

    It’s cable they don’t care about the ratings, they just add the ratings for the “lulz” on the site. What matters for a cable show is the total amount of viewers.

  • Holly

    @huldu,

    That’s not entirely correct. Subscription networks like HBO and Showtime care about subscribers, so total viewers is an OK measure. All other cable nets sell advertising, so they care about ratings. Now, different cable nets may sell ad time and therefore target different demographics (Nick and Disney are obviously more concerned with the 2-11 market than AMC is) but none of them sell based on total viewers.

  • Moose

    Granted, the Killing numbers have improved as of late. However, I don’t read a lot into those numbers. I believe that some of the viewers came back to find out who Killed Rosie. I don’t believe for a minute that those numbers will hold if the show is brought back with a new case to be solved. Also, lets not forget that The Killing isn’t up against much competition right now.

    However, that changes the night of The Killing season finale. Falling Skies starts Sunday, and that could take a bite out of The Killing’s ratings.

    I do think The Killing will be renewed. I think it is a huge mistake and will be a ratings disaster.

  • Kaylie

    @Sean Nicks Saturday numbers were terrible. What are you cheering about? 2.3 million viewers for iCarly. Sheesh. Nickelodeons losing all their Saturday night glory. Disney should move all their animated programs to Saturday night & take down Nick for good.
