Univision is the #3 Network Among Adults 18-49 for Third Consecutive Week

Network Out-Delivers ABC, NBC and CBS for the Fifth Consecutive Week Among

Adults 18-34, Ranking as the #2 Broadcast Network

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights - Week of June 4, 2012 to June 10, 2012

  • · Univision ranked as the #3 broadcast network among Adults 18-49 last week, out-delivering ABC (+7%) and CBS (+14%)

ü Univision accounted for three of this week’s top 15 programs among Adults 18-49.

 

  • · Univision was the #2 network during primetime last week among Adults 18-34, out-delivering NBC (+31%), ABC (+54%), and CBS (+91%).

ü This marks the fifth consecutive week that Univision has delivered more Adults 18-34 viewers than ABC, NBC, and CBS.

ü For the nineteenth time in the past twenty weeks Univision has ranked #3 or higher among A18-34.

ü Univision accounted for four of this week’s top 15 programs among Adults 18-34.

 

  • · Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on every night last week among Adults 18-49. Univision also out-delivered one or more of the English-Language broadcast networks on every night last week among Adults 18-34.

ü Based on the current 2011/2012 season to date, Univision has out-performed NBC during broadcast prime 77% of the time (204 out of 266 days) among Adults 18-34 and 53% of the time (141 out of 266 days) among Adults 18-49.

ü Additionally Univision has out-performed ABC on 74 nights, CBS on 56 nights, and FOX on 68 nights among Adults 18-49. Furthermore, among Adults 18-34, Univision has out-performed ABC on 160 nights, CBS on 180 nights, and FOX on 95 nights.

 

  • · At 8p.m., Univision’s novela “Refugio Para Amor” (A Shelter for Love) helped Univision to rank as the #3 network for the hour among Adults 18-34. The novela increased its audience +14% among Total Viewers 2+ (3 Million) and +7% Adults 18-49 (1.4 Million) compared to the prior week and averaged 734,000 Adults 18-34.

 

  • · Univision’s 9p.m. novela “Abismo de Pasion” (Abyss of Passion) helped Univision to rank as the #2 network for the hour among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. The novela averaged 3.8 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.8 Million Adults 18-49, and 948,000 Adults 18-34 viewers for the week.

 

  • · During the 10 p.m. hour (based on M-F), Univision aired “La Que No Podia Amar” (The One Who Couldn’t Love). Univision ranked as the #1 network among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 for the hour. The novela averaged 4.1 Million Total Viewers 2+, 2.1 Million Adults 18-49, and 1.1 Million Adults 18-34.

 

  • · Univision kicked off the week as the #4 network among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, out-delivering CBS in both demographics. Univision’s entire primetime lineup also ranked among the top 10 programs Monday night among Adults 18-34 and top 15 programs among Adults 18-49.

 

  • · On Tuesday night Univision rose to the #3 position among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering CBS in both demographics for the second consecutive night this week. Univision’s entire primetime lineup also ranked among the top 5 programs among Adults 18-34 and top 15 programs among Adults 18-49.

 

  • · On Wednesday night Univision rose to #2 position among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering CBS in both demographics for the third consecutive night this week. Univision’s entire primetime lineup also ranked among the top 5 programs among Adults 18-34 and top 10 programs among Adults 18-49.

 

  • · On Thursday night Univision was the #1 ranked network among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 5 programs for the night among Adults 18-34 and ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-49.

 

  • · For the ninth consecutive week, Univision was the #1 network on Friday night among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

ü From 7:50p.m. - 10p.m. Univision aired the “Camino al la Copa Mundial” Mexico vs. Guyana soccer match. The Match ranked as the #1 sports telecast for the week, delivering more Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 viewers than Game 5 of the Stanley Cup finals, Baseball on FOX, and the Belmont Stakes. The match delivered 3.2 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.8 Million Adults 18-49, and 1 Million Adults 18-34 viewers.

ü “La Que No Podia Amar” was the #1 program for the night among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

ü In the current season Univision has been the #1 Network on Friday nights 89% of the time (34 out of 38 weeks) among Adults 18-34 more than any other broadcast network.

 

  • · On Saturday night, airing “Sabado Gigante,” Univision ranked as the #3 network among Adults 18-34 and was #4 among Adults 18-49. “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) attracted 1.7 Million Total Viewers 2+, 688,000 Adults 18-49, and 261,000 Adults 18-34 viewers.

 

  • · On Sunday night Univision ranked as the #2 network among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49.

ü Airing “La Familia P. Luche 3” at 7p.m., Univision delivered 2.1 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.1 Million Adults 18-49 and 578,000 Adults 18-34.

ü The second episode of “Pequeños Gigantes 2” ranked as the #2 program for the night among Adults 18-34 and ranked #1 among Adults 18-49. The show delivered 4 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.9 Million Adults 18-49, and 1 Million Adults 18-34 and helped Univision rank as the #1 network for the entire week among Teens 12-17 and Kids 2-11.
