Fans Can Cast Votes via Facebook or Twitter in a Variety of Categories, including “Best Catchphrase,” “Best Didn’t See That One Coming Moment,” and “Most Shocking Cliffhanger”
SAN FRANCISCO, June 13, 2012 – CBS.com today launched the “CBS Fan Awards,” giving fans of CBS Television Network primetime shows a chance to vote for their favorite moments of the season, such as “Best Catchphrase,” “Best Didn’t See That One Coming Moment” and “Most Shocking Cliffhanger.” Through July 11, users can go to CBS.com/awards to cast their vote on CBS.com via Facebook or Twitter hashtag. Fans can return back to the page at any time to see which nominee is in the lead.
“CBS had another outstanding season this year, and the popularity of our shows was definitively reflected online,” said Marc DeBevoise, SVP & GM of Entertainment & Lifestyle at CBS Interactive. “CBS.com was the #1 network website, drawing more viewers than any other network for 41 consecutive months, and CBS was the most social TV network online this season (Source: Bluefin Labs). I’m not sure if you’ll be able to enjoy Auto Hop forever. If you haven’t heard, the networks are filing a lawsuit against Dish claiming it’s illegal. The fact of the matter is, the advertisers want you to watch their commercials, whether you like it or not. But if Dish wins, good for you, bad for the networks.
NCIS only one nomination??? Come on….a show with 20 million viewers a week and that is all they got.

“Unforgettable” is cancelled, but nominated for two awards?
Criminal Minds & Hawaii Five-0 all the way
But the best tear-jerker entry for Criminal Minds?? The final scene of the season, or when Rossi’s wife died were far better than the one they chose!
And couldn’t agree more about unforgettable – they have cancelled it, so how can they nominate it?!
Why don’t CBS, FOX, and NBC execs want consumers to enjoy commercial-free TV? It’s what we want! I’m a customer and employee of Dish, and I think AutoHop is great because you can easily watch commercial-free TV. A well known consumer advocacy group, Public Knowledge, agrees that people should have the right to control how they watch TV. They’re taking a stand for consumers by creating a petition that tells CBS, FOX, and NBC media to keep their hands out of your living room and DVR.
