Are Back for 14 New Episodes For the Milestone 10th Season

New York, NY (June 13, 2012) – It’s time to cut – or be cut! The Emmy® Award nominated series, Project Runway, celebrates its 10th Anniversary milestone with 16 new designers, beginning Thursday, July 19, at 9pm ET/PT on Lifetime. But before viewers tune in to watch them on the air, fans will have the rare opportunity to see them in person for a LIVE runway show in New York’s Times Square on Friday, June 15, at 8pm ET. Not only will this season’s designers have to prove they have the creativity, skills and passion to dazzle Heidi Klum, mentor Tim Gunn and judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia, they’ll also have to show off their garments to the critical eyes of a live audience in one of New York’s most visited and highly visible sites for their first challenge of the new season.

Filmed on location in the Big Apple, each 90-minute episode of the 10th season will showcase the talent of the designers on the runway, and the drama that takes place behind-the-seams as the designers attempt to make the cut to show at New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Center. With some new twists for the designers along the way, who will make the cut?

As part of the winner’s prize package, this season’s Victorious designer will receive $100,000 from L’Oréal Paris to start his/her own line, a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine, a 2013 Lexus GS 350, a $50,000 technology suite by HP and Intel to create his/her own vision and run his/her business and the opportunity to design and sell an exclusive collection at Lord & Taylor. Lord & Taylor is the exclusive retail sponsor for Project Runway's 10thseason and has merchandised the accessory wall with its well-edited assortment of product. The retailer will also host an exciting challenge episode that will come to life for consumers on Fashion’s Night Out in the store’s Fifth Avenue flagship. The model paired with the winner of Project Runway will also appear in the designer's editorial feature in Marie Claire and receive $25,000 from L'Oréal Paris EverStyle.

Lets hope the judges leave their crack pipes home this season so they can have better judgment when picking the winners and losers.

I am so glad that Project Runway is going to be 90min. this season. I have always wished that there was more time to show more of the actual sewing.
One other thing that would help me remember who did what is to have an inset of the desingers item when they are being called out. At least while there is still so many of them.
In past seasons I have enjoyed it when the models were part of the show. Especially the season when there was a 1/2 hour show after R
    unway.
It would be nice to know how some of past seasons contestants & winners are doing now. I can’t wait till July 13th

I am in Montrose, Colorado, with the Optimum Cable system. I am not receiving Project Runway. When I call Optimum, I hear it is up to you what shows I get through their cable.

I really like Project Runway and would like to see it when it is offered.
