“CBS SUNDAY MORNING” IS UP +9% IN HOUSEHOLDS, +2% IN VIEWERS AND +17% IN ADULTS 25-54 COMPARED TO THE SAME DAY LAST YEAR
CBS SUNDAY MORNING was the #1 Sunday morning news program in households, viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for June 10. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.7/11 with 5.07m viewers and 1.4/07 in adults 25-54. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted its best households delivery since April 22, 2012, its best viewers performance since May 13, 2012 and its best ratings in adults 25-54 since May 6, 2012. CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +9% in households (from 3.4/10), +2% in viewers (from 4.95m) and +17% in adults 25-54 (from 1.2/07) compared to the same day last year.
Television year-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +3% in households (3.7/10 from 3.6/10) and even in adults 25-54 (1.4/07).compared to last year.
Sunday’s broadcast was anchored by Charles Osgood from New York and included CBS THIS MORNING senior correspondent John Miller’s report on the mysteries surrounding New York's Plum Island, Rita Braver’s visit to West Virginia to check in with descendants of the infamous Hatfield and McCoy families, Lee Cowan’s interview with Charlize Theron and Mo Rocca’s trip backstage on Broadway to witness the long-running tradition of The Gypsy Robe.
