The premiere of Dallas was the top cable program Wednesday night with a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating. The number two cable original was Royal Pains which earned a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating, up from a 1.0 last week.
We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our primary source, if you don't see your show it wasn't in that top 100 list.

Dallas premiered high that’s good cause it will go down next week most shows go down after their first week.
Horrible start for the way over-promoted DALLAS.
Wow no espn Wednesday night baseball? Baseball really is behind basketball as the #3 professional sport.
Will the people who tuned into Dallas last night for the nostalgia factor be back for more? It will be interesting to see how the show holds up over the next few weeks.

Weds Night baseball starting at 7p ET averaged 956,000 viewers and a 0.3 A18-49 rating. FYI last Sunday night’s ESPN’s game Detroit/Cincinatti DID make the list in the Sunday night post (1.889 million and a 0.6 A18-49 rtg).
I didn’t watch Dallas till this afternoon and I really enjoyed it. Will watch next week for sure.
The first episode of Dallas premiered well with a 1.5, but there were two episodes on last night. The second episode only got a 0.6. That’s a pretty severe drop, isn’t it?

Changes need to be made to Americas Best Dance Crew. No reason why a live season finale should have those numbers. Last years live season finale had 2.5 million viewers.
I am floored by the huge Dallas ratings – wow? Puzzled!
It is truly amazing how the entire internet is trying to spin DALLAS as having done well last night. So many sites keep reporting the numbers as they are but using labels like “hit”, “smash”, “great”, etc…
And of course, people are eating it up and thinking it is all true. If only these people knew the reality of the situation.
The total viewers are not great and the demo is low. The show skews old and many other previous TNT dramas have done better. Even a few have done better recently. Considering these starting numbers, the chance the show falls to even worse numbers are high.
A real shame this is being labeled a hit by the media when it is quite the opposite.

Again, Soccer beat MLB. That’s a real shocker considering it’s a competition that doesn’t even concern the USA or Latin American.
