   6.96 Million total viewers for TNT is pretty impressive (Dallas’ total viewer ratings). I think saying it’s “not” a hit is pretty lame. NBC would KILL for a rating like that.

   -Claps ABDC- Congrats on actually making the top 100. Last year you were constantly near the top. It’s getting repetitive and something needs to change. Live finale results at 1.15/0.5? Eww.

   Anyone who thinks that Dallas’ numbers are disappointing needs to get their head checked. Almost 9M viewers combined for the night. Pretty good demo numbers and with DVR playback factored (which Turner does care about) your talking about possibly 10M viewers for the entire night.

   NBC and The CW would kill to have ratings like that.

   Plus, I don’t think Dallas is a super expensive show either. There are state tax credits for Warner Brothers by shooting on location in Dallas. Plus, the series regular cast is relatively small.

   I hope Melissa & Joey can get back to in the .6-.8 range, but glad its steady, it only 2 tenths away from Secret Life’s rating

   I don’t understand all of the Dallas haters here!! The show did great! The epidode was what we all expected. The nostalgia factor was there and the new blood blended in with the old school folks.

   I don’t see it falling off very much from here. It’s a really good show!

   ‘Dallas’ will be Renewed for sure ! But I don’t understand if this Show is just a remake of the 1968′s one OR a all new Show based on the first.

   @Dean_W Remake , since the story continues and their history of the old show is mentiond in the show, so not a new show, but a remake / update.

    @Dean, Dallas isn’t that old! It wasn’t on in 1968. @Peter, it is not a remake, either.

    As a huge ABDC fan..this season sucked!..MTV needs to revamp the show..add new judges..or something..the ratings this season have been dreadful..

    Sorry, it was 1978 (the First Show debuted on CBS on April 2, 1978 as a mini-series).

    After the new Series of ‘Hawaii Five-0′ in 2010 and ‘Dallas’ now, I’d like to see a ‘X-Files’ or a ‘E.R.’ remake (It’ll come in few years both Shows are not old enough to have a remake).

    They can do an ER remake but in real life there is no such thing as an ER its now called an ED.
