A PAPAL POISONING IS SERVED ON THE SEASON TWO FINALE OF THE BORGIAS

The chilling end to last week’s episode reveals how far Cesare will go to protect his family. With Juan now dead, he sets out to destroy the maniacal Friar Savanarola so he can once again prove his worth to his father. But when the Pope realizes Juan is missing, he enlists his Papal militia to search every corner of Rome to locate him. Meanwhile, Lucrezia falls for an unexpected suitor and announces she will finally re-marry. Everyone is relieved, but the Pope’s joy is short-lived when he receives devastating news, furthered by a shocking confession from Cesare. Later, during celebrations for Lucrezia’s betrothal, the young assassin Antonello strikes. Will Cesare save his father from certain death in time?
