O wait I see it on the list.!(: lol
@Mike
Because there story lines either suck or are all together confusing to follow. Putting characters who don’t deserve story lines and matches isn’t helping either. The only reason why you and people like you find it mature, is that Impact speaks to it’s audience in a way that they don’t care if people know that it is scripted. Which is the main reason why they will never obtain an audience like Raw or even SmackDown weekly. You can’t choose when to turn on and off reality when you are writing a show.
Kids? Raw draws in 1.4 to 1.7 area for 18-49 when their nothing huge. Kids aren’t the only ones who watch it.
@Richard Steven Hack
From what Matt Nix has said in a recent interview, it ain’t gonna happen any time soon. Besides I like the thought of having just one big Client as apposed to the ‘Client of The Week’ of previous Seasons. Plus we saw a side of Micheal we’ve never seen before now, props to Jeff’s performance!
Wow, Supernatural squeaked in with a TNT rerun that gets the same repeat numbers as it does on the CW. No wonder the WB wants more episodes.
How does USA factor in the same-day repeats for shows like Burn Notice and Suits? Does it just combine the audiences and numbers for the different airings or what?
@Simon: You are right about no new villains being introduced, but what? You know there are villains aside from Anson that could come back, right? And they’re not the villains from the “client of the week” format. That’s all Richard Steven Hack is saying. And I agree with him–Anson is such an underwhelming, underdeveloped villain. I’ve never bought him as the person that was behind Michael’s burn notice at all. It’s nothing against Jere Burns–it’s all because of the writing. A character like Anson should’ve been introduced earlier if we were to believe he was a master of mind games, not mid-season five doing all sorts of things off-screen against the characters.
@AgentVee
Never said anything about villians in my post. Just pointed out that Matt Nix said that the Fiona storyline would be around for quite a while, nothing about villians.
Figure It Out (Nickelodeon)
-7 PM: 2.956 million viewers, 0.44 A18-49 (#1 in total viewers for the day)
Euro 2012 (ESPN)
-11:45 AM: 0.617 million viewers, 0.29 A18-49
-2:31 PM: 0.825 million viewers, 0.41 A18-49
@ NICK
Thank you…I see those numbers rising once again during the weekend, especially the Sunday’s match-ups. Portugal vs Holland on Sunday afternoon could bring over 2 million for ESPN. The ESPN/ESPN2 combined audience should be over 3 million viewers (due to games simulcasting at the same time).
@thenowleopard
yeah, no kidding. Wouldn’t be surprised if the show gets to a 10th season with these repeat numbers
Disney is just a bunch of STUPID Teen Sitcoms with no plot or depth whatsoever why does anyone watch it. Oh yeah so 8-11 yr. old girls can look cool.
Stephen judson TNA Impact does not use scripts, they stopped using them about 6 months ago. Do you even watch the product?
TNA’s product is like a film written by Chris Nolan while WWE is like a film written by that guy who wrote the Avengers.
Quality over quantity
It is really ashame more people aren’t tuned in to Suits. I never comment on writing but dang that was well written. I was hooked through the whole episode. I also watch tna along with wwe. I am sorry but TnA was alot better in the beginning. In my opinion there is too much taliking about nothing and too many matches that end with interference. It’s all one big free for all and no build up for good matches. I started watching because AJ styles was awesome. Now I stick around for Alex Shelley, Sabin,AJ, and most of the x division. Rood, Angle, Sting, and dudley boy take up too much time arguing week to week. Yes, I know Alex Shelley has now left.
@Joe
I do watch or I wouldn’t have commented on it. Impact is mediocre at best. Could care less what people think about WWE because clearly they are doing something right if they are still on tv for what is about to 20 years.
Good for Burn Notice!
Exactly the same numbers for the Season 1 Finale of Suits, good for now.
Spongebob is still the most watched kids show with adults on ALL TV
Stephen WWE have been around for 67 years and have a built in fan base that will watch no matter what is put on Television.
I work for PWI and write a column for the number one magazine in the country for pro wrestling.
In other words I am a wrestling critic and a licensed one at that and WWE is far from anything quality content wise than that of TNA Impact.
I don’t like WWE and TNA is not much better but from a writing stand point TNA is miles better than WWE. Of course I don’t expect you to understand what I am saying. After all what do I know? I only worked for WCW and wrote articles for the New York Times for most of the 1990’s. lol
Once again Stephen Quality over quantity
Eventually as long as TNA continues to put out the stronger product they’ll get there. We’ve yet to see what their live episodes can do in the ratings because the NBA is always on against it. The June 28th episode is going to be the first TNA episode that we’ll truly be able to judge for them.
As a WWE mark I must say I enjoy TNA a lot more these days and I think its going to take time for people to catch onto TNA but like Miracle was saying the live episodes may have an impact on TNA’s ratings once the NBA is done for the season.
