2.7 MILLION VIEWERS SIGN UP FOR THE CLIENT LIST FINALE

LOS ANGELES, CA (June 18, 2012) – 2.7 million Total Viewers signed up for last night’s season one finale of Lifetime’s new hit drama The Client List, up 8% versus the program’s average, according to Nielsen Research.  The series, starring and executive produced by Jennifer Love Hewitt and co-starring Cybill Shepherd, Loretta Devine and Colin Egglesfield, also averaged 1.3 million Adults 25-54 viewers (+8%), 1.2 million Adults 18-49 viewers (even), 1.1 million Women 18-49 viewers (+18%) and 1.1 million Women 25-54 viewers (+14%), and secured a 2.2 Household rating (+10%) in its season wrap at 10:00pm.

Recently renewed for a second season with 15 all-new episodes (up from 10 for season one), cable’s number one drama among Women in the Sunday 10pm time period tells the story of Texas housewife “Riley Parks” (Hewitt), who, after being deserted by her husband, takes a job at a seemingly traditional day spa only to learn that sexual favors are being offered there on the side.  Conflicted at first, she seizes the opportunity and takes The Job, balancing two starkly different lives – one as a single mom in a conservative town struggling to provide for her family – and the other as a masseuse working with a rowdy and unpredictable group of women.  Based on the network’s hit 2010 original movie, The Client List is executive produced by Hewitt, John Tinker, Jordan Budde, Efrem Seeger, Howard Braunstein and Dannielle Thomas, with Fedora Films and Jaffe/Braunstein producing, in association with Sony Pictures Television.

Yes and it was a great episode. Love this show.

  • John A

Falling Skies must not have got a series high if TNT havent issued a press release.

@JohnA: still too early to say but if there’s still no release in an hour or two it’s probably a reasonable assumption.

this show is just trashy fun and I love it.

  • Mike

I couldn’t watch either one as the power was out from 9-11. I then reset the timer to Record the Client List @ 1:00AM and the power went out again while it was recording.

The title of the press release should say: 2.7. Million Viewers Sign Up For a Free Virtual Hand-Job By Jennifer Love-Hewitt.

Last night’s episode was AMAZING. That finale definitely left us wanting more, and I just can’t wait for the second season.

  • AlcoholicsAnonymous

The only reason why this show is surviving is because of Jennifer Love Hewitt’s boobs.

  • HT

I hope this little bit of good news helps JLH after a terrible week in her personal life.

I keep giving this show a chance. The actors are top notch, but the writing is so incredibly bad and cheesy. This show had so much potential. When watching, I’m not on the edge of my seat. If anything, I’m rolling my eyes. The first step should be better CHARACTER development. The characters are one dimensional and have horrible fake accents!
