New Season of the Original and Acclaimed Silicon Valley
Startup Series Premieres Today Featuring Special Guest Star
                           Eliza Dushku

NEW YORK, June 18, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hiscox, the first insurer
in the U.S. to offer small business insurance direct, online and in
real time, today debuts the first of ten new episodes of Leap Year on
http://leapyear.hiscoxusa.com/ Hulu(TM) and Hulu Plus. The
award-winning scripted series follows the founders of startup C3D as
they scramble to build and launch their "Skype(TM) with holograms"
technology. On the way they are challenged by a suspicious series of
setbacks that threaten their personal and professional futures.

Produced for Hiscox in collaboration with CJP Digital Media and Happy
Little Guillotine Films and written by Vlad & Yuri Baranovsky, Leap
Year season two begins six months after friends and former co-workers
Aaron Morrison (Yuri Baranovsky), Bryn Arbor (Alexis Boozer), Derek
Morrison (Wilson Cleveland), Olivia Reddox (Daniela DiIorio) and Jack
Sather (Drew Lanning) have won half a million dollars to fund their
"Skype with holograms" startup, C3D.

Dushku, who appears in a three-episode arc as "hacker in heels" 'June
Pepper,' will be joined by fellow season two guest stars Steven Weber,
Emma Caulfield, Scandal's Joshua Malina, Julie Warner reprising her
season one role as Derek's attorney 'Josie Lanning' and Craig Bierko
who returns for two episodes as the fiendish 'Andy Corvell.' Leap
Year's sophomore season also features cameo appearances by prominent
members of the tech community including What's Trending host Shira
Lazar, Reddit Co-founder Alexis Ohanian, TechStars NYC Managing
Director David Tisch, Rachel Sklar, Ben Parr and Shelby.tv Founder
Reece Pacheco.

"The second season of Leap Year is even bigger and better than the
first. Starting up can be exhilarating and exhausting and we wanted to
share some of the insights, struggles and triumphs our small business
customers experience every day," said Kevin Kerridge, small business
insurance expert at Hiscox.

Leap Year, which recently won four Telly Awards, including a Silver
Telly for Comedy, and the Banff World Media award for Best Branded
Entertainment, is part of a suite of content put together by Hiscox for
startups and established small businesses. This includes new episodes
of Leap Year's companion series, My Startup Story featuring interviews
with Joe Fernandez (Klout), Burt Herman (Storify), Alex Ljung
(SoundCloud), Steve Jang (Soundtracking), Brett Martin (Sonar), Bart
Stein (Stamped) and Randy Shiozaki (TV Plus) discussing how they turned
their ideas into success and what advice they have for others starting
up today.
