Afternoon everyone!! Have been sleeping a little better lately since obama’s ratings have been sinking. However, watched Morning Joe this morning and you would think obama has it in the bag as a result of his latest immigration trick. “I’ve got a scream Dean” was on the program and he was giddy as he discussed how smart this move was. Joe and Mika weren’t on the segment I watched.
@USN
The brotherhood will not be playing a behind the scenes roll this time
They are the ones behind these protest, they are also the ones behind the rocket sent into Israel, which Irn was behind them supplying them, which Russia is behind sending them to Iran, which is behind, you get the picture
As for the Christians hiding, they have been beaten and murdered on a daily basis over there, every single day for years usn. Egypt was one place where they were fairly safe. That is until the so-called Arab Spring. And while I can’t say (yet) where I’m going on my missions trip, I can tell you, we will be followed every single day while there, with guards that love using those guns and knives they carry.
BUT, as luck would have it, One guard that followed us at the same village, a few years ago, later became a Christian and we share e-mails a couple of times a year
He will be at my house Next March if things work out for a month to study becoming a Pastor of his own Church.
Howdy LetMeThink, welcome back

HEY!!!! Some of us have to keep the economy going!!! And by the way, the smoked “sausage turtle” is/was INCREDIBLE!! It is ALMOST obsene!! Imagine ham, bacon, pork sausage, brautwurst, with a hint of bbq ALLLLLLL together!!
@LetmeThink
I go at times to Africa on some missions, sometimes with medical teams, most of the times with Teams my Church sends over. I went some years ago and helped build a water station, and a Church and huts for a bunch of kids over there.
We (When allowed to) take food & medical supplies. We’re not allowed to take Bibles, or any Church related documents. One time as soon as the food truck pulled in, a Muslim group stole the food and the truck. Our team had to walk 20 miles back to the city where we were to depart from.
I’ve only went 3 times though and looking very forward to going back, Beautiful Land, Weather (Actually Cool at times) and Fantastic wonderful people, and those kids will melt your heart. And they (Christians) are so dedicated it would freak all of you out. What they put up with as Christians, we cannot over here imagine.

Economic bummer: 6.9 million homes ditch cable TV
It started with homes, then cars, and now penny-pinching Americans, especially minorities, are giving up cable TV because they just can’t afford it in the lingering recession.
Instead, they are switching back to free TV, improved with the recent switch to digital broadcast which requires a special antenna but eliminates the $70-$100 monthly cable, satellite or broadband service fee.
Industry officials had worried that Americans would begin “cord-cutting” in a shift to internet TV, but the recession is more to blame, not internet bling.
“It’s not so much cord-cutting as cost-cutting that’s motivating this. There’s possibly recessionary issues here,” said Dennis Wharton, spokesman for the National Association of Broadcasters.
Pic of the Day: Obama Bowing Again?…

Obamacare Ruling expected Thursday Morning
CS sounds like a great and worthwhile experience–except the 20 mile walk and stolen supplies. I think we are beginning to see intolerance toward Christians in this country. I’m sure it is nothing like the Christians in other countries experience but it nevertheless worries me.

What do you think your girl friend Hotty Pelosi will say if it is struck down??
@LetMeThink
I’m sure it is nothing like the Christians in other countries experience but it nevertheless worries me.
Your right, it’s nothing compared to other places, but you are also correct about it starting here, compared to just 10 years ago, its mind blowing.
Theres an ongoing battle at the UVA over a FOIA pertaining to Michael Mann’s emails. Larry Sabato is not directly involved as far as i know. IMO Larry is a straight forward guy. He tweeted –
Larry Sabato ?@LarrySabato
This UVA Board will go down in history as the most unpopular in modern times–if not ever.
If Larry thinks the UVA Board stinks it probably does. They (UVA Board) fired the President of UVA in a late night, emergency weekend meeting. Didn’t have a full board at the meeting. Is her firing related to the FOIA? I have no idea. I don’t get why folks who use tax payer money think they have the right to keep info from the public. I can understand defense, CIA, NSA, etc etc not releasing certain info. Refusing to release GW info? That’s not right IMO.
