Univision Ranks as the #3 Broadcast Network among Adults 18-34, Out-Delivering NBC and CBS for the Sixth Consecutive Week

 

Out-delivering one or more of its English Language Counterparts on every Night Last Week, Univision Finished as the #4 Network among Adults 18-49

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights - Week of June 11, 2012 to June 17, 2012

 

  • Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among Adults 18-49 last week, out-delivering CBS (+12%)

 

  • Univision was the #3 network during primetime last week among Adults 18-34, out-delivering NBC (+4%) and CBS (+87%).

ü  This marks the sixth consecutive week that Univision has delivered more Adults 18-34 viewers than NBC and CBS.

ü  For the twentieth time in the past twenty-one weeks Univision has ranked #3 or higher among A18-34.

 

  • Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on every night last week among Adults 18-49.  Univision also out-delivered one or more of the English-Language broadcast networks on five out of seven nights last week among Adults 18-34.

ü  Based on the current 2011/2012 season to date, Univision has out-performed NBC during broadcast prime 77% of the time (207 out of 273 days) among Adults 18-34 and 53% of the time (144 out of 273 days) among Adults 18-49.

ü  Additionally Univision has out-performed ABC on 75 nights, CBS on 62 nights, and FOX on 69 nights among Adults 18-49. Furthermore, among Adults 18-34, Univision has out-performed ABC on 161 nights, CBS on 187 nights, and FOX on 97 nights.

 

  • At 8pm, Univision’s novela “Refugio Para Amor” (A Shelter for Love) helped Univision to rank as the #3 network for the hour among Adults 18-34 Compared to the prior week “Refugio Para Amor” increased its audience among Total Viewers 2+ (+3%; 3.1 Million) and Adults 18-34 (+2%; 752,000) and maintained its Adult 18-49 audience from last week  (1.4 Million).

 

  • Univision’s 9pm novela “Abismo de Pasion” (Abyss of Passion) helped Univision to rank as the #3 network for the hour among Adults 18-34 and #4 among Adults 18-49.  The novela averaged 3.7 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.7 Million Adults 18-49, and 907,000 Adults 18-34

                                                                                                 

  • During the 10pm hour (based on M-F), Univision aired “La Que No Podia Amar” (The One Who Couldn’t Love).  Univision ranked as the #2 network among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 for the hour, out-delivering NBC and CBS in both demographics. The novela averaged 4 Million Total Viewers 2+, 2 Million Adults 18-49, and 1 Million Adults 18-34.

                                 

  • Univision kicked off the week as the #4 network among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, out-delivering CBS in both demographics. Univision’s entire primetime lineup also ranked among the top 10 programs Monday night among Adults 18-34 and top 15 programs among Adults 18-49.

 

  • On Tuesday night Univision maintained its #4 rank among Adults 18-49, out-delivering CBS for the second consecutive night this week. Univision’s entire primetime lineup also ranked among the top 15 programs among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

  • On Wednesday night Univision rose to #2 position among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, CBS, and NBC in both demographics.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup also ranked among the top 5 programs among Adults 18-34 and top 10 programs among Adults 18-49.

 

  • On Thursday night Univision maintained its position as the #2 network among Adults 18-34 and ranked #3 among Adults 18-49. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for the night among Adults 18-34 and ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49.

 

  • Beating FOX, NBC, and CBS on Friday night, Univision ranked as the #2 network among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 5 programs for the night among Adults 18-34 and ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-49.

 

  • On Saturday night, airing “Sabado Gigante,” Univision ranked as the #4 network among Adults 18-49.  “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) averaged more viewers when compared to the previous week and delivered 1.9 Million Total Viewers 2+ (+13%), 717,000 Adults 18-49 (+4%), and 306,000 Adults 18-34 (+17%) viewers. “Sabado Gigante” also ranked among the top 10 programs for the night in the respective demographics.

 

  • On Sunday night Univision ranked as the #4 network among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, out-delivering CBS in both demographics.

ü  Airing “La Familia P. Luche 3” at 7 pm, Univision delivered 1.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 964,000 Adults 18-49 and 574,000 Adults 18-34.

ü  Pequeños Gigantes 2” ranked as the #7 program for the night among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. The show delivered 3.4 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.6 Million Adults 18-49, and 899,000 Adults 18-34.
