    All this tells me is that ABC Fam has the same PR team as ABC. :-P

  • RJ

    Melissa and Joey pretty much sealed its renewal. That viewership is the best in nearly a year and the show does solid each week. I never found it funny, but it does well.

  • Tony

    love both comedies!

  • Alan

    It had a weak premiere, I can see it hitting less than a million viewers in 3 or 4 weeks.

  • Tiera

    Well I thought it was stupid but it’s good that it did well. ABC Family desperately needs that.

  • Jenny

    I thought it had some potential, and charming moments. Most comedies pilots are rough around the edges and then they go on to gain momentum. Melissa & Joey had a pretty weak pilot, but now it has a very solid audience and the writing has improved greatly.

  • CharlieSheen

    I hadn’t gotten into both shows just yet but I will at some point and its good to see multi-cams doing really well on cable right now.

    Baby’s Daddy is honestly a huge shocker to me as I didn’t expect it to do that well.

  • david

    I enjoyed Mellissa and Joey as allways last night. and i watched Baby Daddy today and i thought it had some good moments in the show. I will check out again next week to see if it is still good.

  • Hmm

    @ Nick

    ABC’s family press releases are still amateurish in terms of writing. The authentic ABC press releases are with boldings, underlines.

  • Hi

    Melissa and Joey os awesome! So happy!

  • A

    Without M&J, it wouldve flopped. The show is annoying.

  • Jenny

    @A
    Must be why Melissa & Joey made State of Georgia such a huge success.

  • Wes Nichols

    was pleasantly surprised by it decent cast, and plenty of potential, only thing against it is that it seems like a more wealthy version of “Raising Hope”, with his brother and best friend instead of parents. maybe if Emma was a boy it would be a little different, but I will watch none the less. oh and to A, for girls it has good looking guy’s so my little sister watch’s and for guys Chelsea Kane is Ef’n sexy so yeah I”ll watch if not for just to see her weekly.

  • TimsDale4ever

    I usually stay away from this channel as they have some really lame shows. I tried M&J a few weeks back, and OMG it was sooooooo lame — not even remotely funny. ??

  • Sid

    @A

    You do realize the only reason M&J only saw an increase because of Baby Daddy right?

  • RyanCanada

    @A and @Jenny i personally think M&J and babydaddy helped eachother out they are obviously a good match! and im sure next week they will both be renewed for another season.

  • A

    @Sid

    You should be concerned about Nikita’s fall ratings. :p

  • alffan

    ABC Family is the old WB. Shows like Secret Life are in the 7th Heaven arena, Bunheads is very Gilmore as we know. Melissa & Joey are like the old ABC TGIF or early WB sitcoms. It’s a good mix and looks like they are gaining momentum. Nice job by ABC-F.

    Let’s be real for a moment, Another fact why “Baby Daddy” is doing good because it DOES had have 2 hot guys on there. Derek is a stud and Jean Luc is a cutie and Tahj is the guy gays want to be so they can be friends with those vanilla hotties

  • tophat

    I’m not sure if tahj is gay in person or its just the writing by dude is so gay.
