@Italian Mike
Romney is boring and can’t tell a joke to save his life
Whats weird is I followed him on the stump for about 2 months as a beat reporter and on the trail at stops he did show humor and was well accepted by the crowds. He may have a little burnout by now.
I have to admit it, but I don’t see how he or President Obama keep any of thier humor or brains out stumping and fund rasing, it wore me out just reporting. I have (on the endurance things) nothing but total respect for all of them that do, Including President Obama.

Melissa Perry is a goodlooking dame but she is so far out in left field you could not hit a ball that far. I watched her a couple of times. She is so out of touch. I thought to myself she must have spent her whole adult life in academia.
I forced myself to watch Mr Ed Sargent Schultz yesterday for five fr eakin minutes…. how could anybody watch him any longer than that???? Would I have been scored as watching him???? Is there some way I can protest my watching in and being counted????

In my younger days I did a little stand up so maybe I am being to critical. An old man (when I was young man) once gave me some good advice. He said if you are not funny don’t try to be funny. I understand what you are saying about burnout. The reason I never made it as a comic is you have to be on all the time. No matter how bad your day was. I had A material (I can write jokes) but I was a c- comic.
@Italian Mike
I’ll lay odds that Romney has been advised that with all the bad news and serious issues out there in this election, he should refrain from humor whenever he can. And to be honest, it may be good advice.
I still see poeple while filling up with Gas, cussing and just plain disgusted, I see people not working that have had it with Washington. Here we were notified that Electric rates will be going up for the 3rd time this year alone, up 27% since Feb of this year.
It is serious out in America, and as the election gets closer, people will really start to focus. The Dems may try and divert from the economy, but everytime a person sits down and their wallet is empty, they won’t forget the economy
President Obama has a nice easy delivery. He can sell a one liner. Even GW had natural wit. I would like to see Mitt in a Jay Leno setting. Letterman would just spend the whole hour attacking him.

Hey I took my shot at fame. I now have a construction company. My business partner and I are barely surviving. We are good builders but there is very little for us to do.

Hopefully soon, no matter who wins, things will pick up for you and everyone, this down economy has went on for way to long.

Point well taken on the humor. I hear the voices of digust that you are hearing.

We need you to relax. I know watching The Ed Show can be a tramatic experience. Please do not repeat this destructive behavior!

Well folks I am going to eat dinner and watch the Red Sox lose. This nutmegger is tired. I may tune in later.
MICHELLE OBAMA: Barack’s your husband, too…
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Don’t get me started on that my dinner will get cold. Remember the death ticker at the bottom of the page when Bush was President. It is gone. You would hear about casualities in Afganistan everyday if we had a Republican President.

After it reached 2000 in Iraq, it lead off NBC nightly news every night for weeks

Here is the problem/problems with the poll – note below taken right from the Quinnipiac site
first you have 1000 D’s to 700 R’s, Thats a problem
second it includes cell phones, many cell phones are in one name such as 3 kids a wife and the husband under just the husbands name so the call could be going to a 13 year old with a cell phone, thats a problem
third it is “registered voters” not likely voters but registered voters, thats a problem
=========================
How do you know that the participants of the poll were either democrats or republicans? Secondly, ALL political polls have to include cellphones or the randomness goes away. A non random poll is an invalid poll.
