“FACE THE NATION” IS UP +12% IN HOUSEHOLDS, +15% IN VIEWERS AND +20% IN ADULTS 25-54 COMPARED TO LAST YEAR
CBS News’ FACE THE NATION was the #1 public affairs show on Sunday, June 17, placing first in households, viewers and adults 25-54. The CBS broadcast posted a 1.9/06 in households, 2.62m viewers and 0.6/03 in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings. Editor’s Note: FACE THE NATION’s second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across 65% of the CBS affiliates.
FACE THE NATION is up +12% in households (from 1.7/05), +15% in viewers (from 2.28m) and +20% in adults 25-54 (from 0.5/03) compared to last year.
Television year-to-date, FACE THE NATION is up +11% in households (2.1/06 from 1.9/05), +6% in viewers (2.94m from 2.78m) and +14% in adults 25-54 (0.8/03 from 0.7/03) compared to last year. Television year-to-date, FACE THE NATION is first in adults 25-54.
On the broadcast, Bob Schieffer interviewed Mitt Romney at a stop on his campaign bus tour in Pennsylvania. Schieffer also interviewed Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and former Gov. Howard Dean (D-Vt.) and hosted a political roundtable with Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan, National Review editor Rich Lowry, CBS News Political Director John Dickerson and CBS News Chief Legal and Political Correspondent Jan Crawford.
