HLN’s Broadcasts of the 39th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards® Garners 2 Million Total Viewers and more than 650k Among P25-54

Five prime telecasts of HLN’s Presentation of the Daytime Emmy Awards® Gross Average Audience Totals 2 Million P2+ and 677k P25-54


According to Nielsen Fast National Data, two million total viewers and 677k P25-54 viewers watched the five broadcasts of the 39th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards® on HLN airing on Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24 8-10p (ET) and 10-12m (ET) and one broadcast at 12m-2a.


The premiere broadcast, Saturday night, June 23, airing 8-10p ranks as the #1 most- watched, regularly-scheduled non-news broadcast in the network’s history with 912k P2+ and 327k among 25-54. Among Women in both total viewers and 25-54, the premiere telecast from 8-10p on Saturday night ranks as the second most-watched Saturday in HLN history.

    Hey Iggy, you must have Cablevision-so do I, and we STILL dont have HLN in HD, so its not in my rolodex! A shame, really, cause I cant wait to see Robin Meade in HD-MMMMM, baby!

    Is 900,000 considered a good number even for cable? Can you really get advertisers involved next year with less than a million viewers?


    I watched some of it but didn’t care for the talk shows listed. Except for Regis I didn’t care for any of the talk shows they had. It was was sad seeing some of the old soaps like “Guiding Light’ not there anymore. At least the winners seemed happy nothing like seeing sad saps win.

    900,000 is an awesome number for any program on cable news on weekends. 327K in the demo is high for those programs.
