Double Digit Prime and Total Day Delivery Gains vs. Year Ago
Destination America, the only network dedicated to the people, places and stories of the United States, is off to a terrific start. With the debut Memorial Day weekend, the first week of programming yielded a best-ever week for primetime and total day among P25-54 and M25-54.
Original series, BBQ Pitmasters, helped drive record-setting nights for Destination America in June, recording several bests ever in Prime including, last Sunday (6/24), with that night’s 9p premiere episode becoming the #1 telecast ever for Destination America among HH and P/M 25-54 delivery for Total Day. The 9-10p timeslot premiere episode of BBQ Pitmasters also bolstered Destination America as 21st for the night, among all ad supported cable for M25-54 delivery, beating networks such as ADSM, NGC, G4, TRAV, H2, VH1, CMT, BBCA, BIO, NBC Sports, NGWD, among others.
Since its launch on May 28, the network ranks #1 in primetime for delivery of P25-54, M25-54, P18-49 and M18-49 (tied with DSE) among networks with less than 60M subscribers.
After one month, Destination America has moved up 14 ranks vs. June 2011 (as Planet Green), landing at #46 in prime for M25-54 delivery and ahead of G4 (61.7M subs), MLB (69.5M subs), Golf (85M subs), CNBC (97.7M subs), Weather (100M subs), Nat Geo Wild, NFL Network and NBA-TV.
