MyStyle.com Delivered Its Highest Second Quarter Ever With Over 2.5 Million Video Streams

 

 

 

 

LOS ANGELES – June 26, 2012 – Style Media marked its fifth consecutive quarter for growth and its best second quarter in network history, up an impressive +64% among the targeted W18-34, +34% W18-49 and +20% in Total Viewers year-over-year in primetime, according to Nielsen. Ranked as one of the top 10 cable networks in growth among W18-49 for 2Q2012, Style’s success was fueled by its popular returning original series “Giuliana & Bill” and “Tia & Tamera” and the growth of its new series “Empire Girls: Julissa & Adrienne.” Driven by its exclusive show content, myStyle.com also delivered its highest second quarter ever with over 2.5 million video streams.

Original programming was the top destination for Style viewers in second quarter 2012, with the fifth season of “Giuliana & Bill” becoming the series most watched season to date, +18% season-over-season and averaging over 520,000 total viewers. The premiere of “Tia & Tamera” on Monday, June 11 at 8pm became the network’s most watched second season premiere in history and averaging 489,000 total viewers to date. Style’s new series “Empire Girls” has seen impressive growth since its premiere on Sunday, June 3 up +64% W18-34 and +62% W18-49. Style averaged 171,000 total viewers in primetime up +20% and was driven by its coreW18-49 (79,000) and W18-34 (46,000) audience.

 

MyStyle.com delivered its second highest traffic day in site history on Monday, June 18, according to Omniture, which contributed to its best second quarter ever. MyStyle.com broke all traffic records for 2012 and was up an impressive +134% in Video Streams and up +110% in Daily Unique Visitors, over the prior month. In 2Q2012, myStyle.com has seen a +83% increase in Video Streams and is up +5% in Unique Visitors.
