   Dallas seems to be losing its ‘fizz’ fairly quickly – how long before it goes under 1.0 and what will be its steady level??? I am betting 0.6-0.7-ish – This summer is not going to be kind to this kitsch bit of soap….

   Poor MTV even their veteran shows like Real World can’t get saved :/

   Real World better still get renewed! Last season sucked so hard I have a feeling this season the ratings will just rise from here on out

   Im so glad baby daddy is going well..!! WOAH more than 3 million views for spongebob.!! Gotta love spongebob..(: EWW JESSIE AND AUSTIN AND ALLY did better than GLC WAT.!!!!?? jessie and austin&ally are sucky shows on disney. GLC should be doing better.. Figure it out is doing very well..(: Go NICK AND DISNEY..!!

   If VH1 were smart..theyd leave Hollywood Exes on Monday nights and keep the pairing of Love and Hip Hop and Single Ladies. The show did really well there. keeping it on Wednesdays with no lead at all is hurting it..especially considering its a brand new series.

   ABCFAMILY must be really happy with Melissa and Joey and Baby Daddy…it finally looks like a nice comedy block for the network.

    Melissa and Joey done well!!!! It was my last favourite episode last night, but it was still good, and I hope it gets a higher episode order and a season 3 renewal.

    @1Mars: nope, demos are still king on cable though there isn’t a generic one as in broadcast. Some networks target 18-49, some 25-54 some women 18-34, kids, etc. total viewers is an easy number to comprehend and useful for PR bragging rights.

    ABC Family may have found its comedy gem in “Baby Daddy”, which actually gained viewers from last week (the only ABC Family series to do so this week) and rank #2 in total viewers and #3 in the 18-49 demographic. It is even helping out its lead-in “Melissa & Joey”, which is a rarity in television.

    “Dallas” is looking downright pedestrian, even getting beaten in total viewers by USA Network’s competing “Royal Pains”. Why did TNT reverse its earlier decision to take July 4th off? The network is just wasting a new episode as its numbers will likely take a hit, never a good thing for a serialized show like “Dallas”.

    Ouch!?! at those numbers for MTV’s “Real World: St. Thomas”…tying TV Land’s “The Soul Man” in viewers (but doubling its 18-49 demo numbers). After just one episode, “Real World: St. Thomas” is already lower than every episode of 2011′s “Real World: Las Vegas” and “Real World: San Diego” (not counting the bloopers and reunion specials). Not a very good sign.

    I wonder how season 2 of “Awkward.” will kick off tonight? It averaged nearly 2 million viewers last season; can it buck the trend of lower ratings that seem to be plaguing all of MTV’s series?

    Dallas is okay with those numbers, if there’s one thing cable networks love, it’s viewers! And Dallas has lots of those.

    Demo aside, I doubt this show is packing a huge budget.

    Anyway someone mentioned Deadline, is that the same deadline that posted that Harry’s Law was renewed? Despite no word from anyone from NBC or any press releases to say this?

    Oh.. credibility, gotta love it. If there’s one thing tvbythenumbers has over deadline is that they don’t make these mistakes like that, nor do you jump the gun.

    I liked The Real World way better then past seasons. Don’t really like Baby Daddy.. Still watch it but I like Melissa and Joey better.

    The Soul Man.. That’s a big drop. I forgot it was on last night. And Real World is no longer the flagship of th channel. That’s what happens when you put the fakest people on instead of REAL folks…

    Disney and Nick are ratings hogs!!! They get over 3 million viewers for repeats. They’re the envy of all their competitors. Kudos to summer vacation!

    Remember guys, Real World has already been renewed for a 28th season. So unless it absolutely crashes and burns this season it’s pretty much sure for another season.

    You know, it looks as tho Dallas & RP are both knocking each other off. TNT probably scheduled it where it is to take some of the wind out of RP’s sails — and they may have accomplished that. But it looks as though RP might also be depressing Dallas’ audience.
