Anyone notice that all these shows are shot in Canada

  • USAmerica1st

Right, @jim dandy Canada has been doing boffo business for years. Good pool of local actors, nice locations, and cheaper than many Stateside locations and studios. On Comicon, where is the panel for Haven?

  • cimmer

Well, it’s not really cheaper per se anymore but Syfy has been getting their scifi from out of the country for decades now – all the Stargates, Farscape, IMan etc. Maybe we just make too big a deal of scifi, down here south of the border, maybe we should treat scifi as more of a business and less of an ‘event’ (dun, dun DUN!) LOL. Scale down and think less Avatar and more Red Dwarf in mindset. lol

How about Haven ??? Love that show

How about a release date for Blood & Chrome? I don’t care about any of this other junk.
