Dallas was Wednesday's top cable original,  earning a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating, down a tenth from last week.

We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our primary source, if you don't see your show it wasn't in that top 100 list.

The list below is long but you can use your browsers "find on page" feature (usually CTRL+F or CMD+F) to search - that's probably the easiest way to find last night's episode of Fast N Loud.

Its weird that Dallas has lost so many viewers each week but not that many demo viewers.

  • david

Do you know how Hollywood Heights did on Nick at Night.

  • Martin

Any ratings for The Exes or The Soul Man??

  • http://tvbythenumbers.com Robert Seidman

    SOUL MAN, TVL 10p: 807,000 viewers, 0.3 A18-49 rtg
    THE EXES, TVL 10:30p: 743,000 viewers, 0.2 A18-49 rtg
    HOLLYWOOD HEIGHTS NAN 9p: 434,000 viewers, 0.1 A18-49 rtg

  • Martin

    @Robert

    thanks for ratings.

not that big a drop for the exes but the soul man is low, hopefully they will rebound next week after the holiday. Not that i really care either way for The Soul Man, really just watching it cos nothing else is on and waiting for The Exes to come on.

Anyone have any idea what the level of ratings on tv land could possibly be to warrant renewal cos it is hard to tell seeing as they have never actually cancelled an original scripted comedy, yet…

  • Ryan530

hopefully futurama rebounds next week. the holiday had t hurt it. i’d like to see it get renewed again; but i’m not 100% sure this time. they’ll have to announce it sometime in March if they do because of how long they take to make the episodes. South Park and Futurama should honestly be paired together.

  • nick

Just as i predicted…….. The soul man is a big flop. I’m sorry but its true. The premiered with like 1.92 million and after like 3 episodes they have gone done to .80 million viewers. It’s pretty clear that Hot in Cleveland is still the reigning champion of TVLAND. Hot in cleveland has been keeping a very steady 1.5 million viewers to 2.5 million viwers in the last year and a half. And they left Season 3 with 1.95, better then their premiere (1.94).

  • BJH

Why doesn’t TVLand air “The Exes” at 10pm? It’s the established series. Its lead-in is killing it. TVL needs to air “Hot in Cleveland” year-round…

  • david

Thanks Robert for the ratings. Its to bad more people are not watching Hollywood Heights. Its a good show.

  • Mary

    @Nick

Not trying to hate on Hot in Cleveland, but hasn’t it dropped below one million multiple times? The Soul Man aired during a holiday, so you are not exactly being fair. Personally I love The Soul Man and The Exes.

  • Jamey

Dallas didn’t do as bad as I thought it would. I wonder if next week will finally be the week it grows or stabilizes. Were getting close to the point where Dallas is going to dropping so many viewers as shows usually stabilize around their 6th to 10th episode.

Soul Man has definitely flopped but TV Land should consider airing Hot in Cleveland year round. TV Land needs to find a second comedy that can do well.

  • Jamey

    @ David

There’s two dramas that I’ve started watching lately that are extremely underrated and need to find an audience and that’s Hollywood Heights and The L.A. Complex. Both shows are good enough to find an audience out of nowhere but it will be up to the networks to stay patient with them.

    @ Mary

The good thing for Soul Man and Exes is that it was a holiday so they have the opportunity to rebound. I feel that both shows aren’t strong enough to support themselves they need a stronger lead-in to grow their audience.

After seeing the way ABC Family rebounded this year with their comedies and their patience for Melissa & Joey it paid off so these networks need to start letting their shows find an audiences. Most shows don’t fin an audience until season 2 or 3.

  • Jimi

Do you think Futurama will be renewed with these ratings?

  • Oliver

It’s hard to say Futurama’s renewal chances as it’s difficult to judge how much Futurama costs (animation, voice actors salaries etc), how much Comedy Central is paying for it, and where Fox’s income comes from (e.g. international deals, DVDs, Netflix, off-network syndication).

It’s not unfeasible that Futurama is surprisingly cheap to make (thanks to digital animation and heavy cast pay cuts), Fox subsidise the licensing fee to Comedy Central, and Fox claw their investment back through international sales and ensuring the continuation of syndication income.

All that is certain is that the lower the ratings, the less likely it is to be renewed, and Futurama’s ratings don’t look especially great right now.

  • The End

5 episodes in and Dallas still hasn’t found its footing, instead of leveling off they continue to drop.

Would be milding concerning if it wasn’t renewed, as most people know its important for a show to stabilise.

  • MJDB

Not to shabby for The Soul Man and The Exes. The Soul Man didn’t drop from last week, and The Exes only a tenth on the 4th of July (Fan Excuse Bingo). Don’t know here but if The Exes scores a 0.2 18-49 on a normal episode, and Retired at 35 scores a 0.1 18-49 on a normal episode, maybe all shows could survive. Here would be the best way to rotate with no new shows:

    10:00-Hot in Cleveland
    10:30-Happily Divorced or The Exes

    10:00-The Soul Man
    10:30-Retired at 35

  • Nadine

The more I catch Dallas, the more I think that it may be a problem that all the charisma seems to radiate from the old guys, who still have that juice that tickles the camera so well, but the young leads don’t sparkle. And in the end, that could mean that Dallas, despite the provenance of its title, may have the ultimate carrying power of, say, Leverage. Which isn’t a bad thing, but it depends how much it’s costing the network to produce and promote it.

  • Ivan

@Nick, do you have 7pm Figure It Out numbers? Thanks

  • Patrick G.

Although I would normally be saying that the continued ratings drops for “DALLAS” must have TNT reconsidering their renewal decision, not to mention expanding the order for the 2nd season by 6 episodes, we must remember that other factors are involved here – namely OVERSEAS DEALS!! The show has been sold into a lot of markets in Europe, South America, and elsewhere. With TNT and the series’ production arm both owned by Warner Brothers, that means pure profits from overseas. Just as has been the case with most of The CW’s entire existence, while they may have lousy domestic ratings with their shows, much of the profit stream comes from overseas income and DVD sales, so they can afford to tolerate poor ratings domestically and make up the cash flow in those other arenas. “DALLAS” is doing the same thing. So unless it drops to a .5, it should be fine. Even if it did, we might be surprised by continued renewals ;)

Now would someone just please remake “DYNASTY” so our 80′s soaps duel can resume? I was a huge “DYNASTY” fan, and with all the freakin kids in the Carrington family, a remake would be easy. And I’m sure Joan Collins would love to come back as Alexis!! :)
