Members of Baseball’s American League All-Star Team Present Top Ten Fun Facts About the All-Star Game on CBS’ ‘Late Show With David Letterman’ Monday Night

TEN MEMBERS OF BASEBALL’S AMERICAN LEAGUE ALL-STAR TEAM PRESENT THE “TOP TEN FUN FACTS ABOUT THE ALL-STAR GAME” ON CBS’ “LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN” TONIGHT
It’s an All-Star Monday when 10 members of Major League Baseball’s American League All-Star Team present the “Top Ten Fun Facts About the All-Star Game” on the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Monday, July 9. The players present the Top Ten List via satellite from Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, where the 2012 All-Star Game will be played tomorrow evening (Tuesday, July 10).
Among the items they present are number 4, read by Adam Jones of the Baltimore Orioles: “Players need notes from two different doctors to get out of doing lame Top Ten List”; number 3, read by Josh Hamilton from the Texas Rangers: “This year’s game is cup-optional”; and number 2, read by C.J. Wilson from the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim: “Earlier today, we all bonded at a matinee of ‘Magic Mike.’”
In addition to Jones, Hamiltion and Wilson, the other All-Stars presenting tonight’s Top Ten List are Justin Verlander from the Detroit Tigers, Joe Mauer from the Minnesota Twins, Chris Sale from the Chicago White Sox, Jered Weaver from the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, David Price from the Tampa Bay Rays, All-Star Ambassador and baseball Hall of Famer George Brett and Derek Jeter from the New York Yankees. Their entire Top Ten List can be seen on the LATE SHOW tonight (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Also visiting the LATE SHOW tonight are actor Ray Romano and musical guest Tom Waits.
