They either wanted him to get booed or they are extremely dumb, you pick which one….
It was actually a very smart move to show that he will hold the line on what he is saying no matter who he is addressing. It will in fact sway some but few black voters but will have a positive effect on many others who are tired of the pandering speeches changed in content and delivery for the crowd being addressed. Plus for the black community it will show going forward that he said he would do it right to your face so dont be supprised when he does it!
Summer time numbers. Kudlow closing in on CNN
Yeah, if Obama had went in front of the Tea Party and said that he’d keep pushing Obamacare you would have called him either an idiot or that he WANTED to get booed. (so would I)

If Obama would go in front of ANY group and just be HONEST about Obamacare thene there would be a discussion to be had. but him going around and flat not telling the truth about how it will work and the effects make any chance of good discussion one way or the other impossible.
@Suikostinger
“Yeah, if Obama had went in front of the Tea Party and said that he’d keep pushing Obamacare you would have called him either an idiot or that he WANTED to get booed”
I would expect him to and not talk around it if Obama addressed a Tea Party Group. A leader does not always have the luxury to pick the groups he or she may have to address, even though Obama has done quite well stacking the house with his supporters when he hold a speech or town hall meeting. A leader needs to enter the lion’s den from time to time and confront those who do not agree with them and state your case.
Now let’s look at the chance Obama would give a speech at a Tea Party Convention. I would bet you a year’s pay that he would not. Now let us compare the two and see who has more moxie.
Exactly, and him getting booed at the NAACP just shows how one sided that group is just like The Tea Party is….meaning he sort of wanted to get booed…..Pretty simple.
I do not think he wanted to get booed. I just see it that he spoke his platform and did not sugar coat it or double talk it. Hit his point and went on. I bet he would have prefered to have them clap than to have them boo. I think I would win that bet too?
@Suikostinger
“Yeah, if Obama had went in front of the Tea Party and said that he’d keep pushing Obamacare you would have called him either an idiot or that he WANTED to get booed”
Obama would not be booed at our T.P. for advocating Obamacare. That’s not to say all branches would react the same . I can’t speak for 3,000 other T.P. groups for I remember being ashamed at the T.P./CNN Primary Debate. Our point of view would be expressed in the question & answer session afterwards. We’ve had opposing speakers before, & have always been polite. That’s not to say we’re not without action. Our new interstate signs are up. In 2008 ,they said “Throw them out” & this year they say”Throw the rest of them out”

A factoid on the ‘The Five’. I don’t watch it ,but, some do on this thread.
(TV Newser)
Fox News’s “The Five” has gone from zero to 2.1 million (viewers) in just the last year and is now FNC’s third most-watched show.
These sea drone that is hitting the news is just that. Political News. The drones are great for mine that have been laid in specific area. Iran does not do that type of warfare.
As in Operation Praying Mantis in April 1988. They just let them loose at different locations and let them float at different depths, drifting. They do not let them go in one area so it is the fear of “they could be anywhere” is what shut the Strait of Hormuz.
This is not threat to Iran and just a “We are doing something” ploy. Get real.
Hey Laurence, just wanted to remind you of a few things. Yes Clinton did raise the income tax rate, but he also lowered a bunch of other taxes, like dividend and capital gains taxes.
suiko, does Jessica support Obama or Romney? What about Missy and Red? BTW, you need to use that ability to predict the future( knowing what TP folks would do before they even do it) to make some money in the stock market!! Also,”if Obama had went”?? Not very good English for the grammar police, and don’t say it was a typo—went vs. gone.
From http://www.dol.gov/opa/media/press/eta/ui/current.htm

DD, not trying to defend you as I know you are capable of stating and defending your own views. I appreciate and enjoy your posts. You openly admit to being a conservative but you are not blinded by etiology. Keep posting the great info.
Wonder if Coffee Steve will be able to post once he is in Nigeria and settled in? Doesn’t seem the same without his daily comments. Have a great day all.
@ db , as you wish you are vile disgusting pathetic dishonest delusional stupid douchbag, Merry Xmas!!!

War?? d.d. Relax, you called me a bigot for calling Romney a racist due to his religious beliefs, in my own tacky way. If you are going to read all the hateful comments(not about me) posted in here by idiots like DB and others,and have no comment on ANY of them, then you are out of touch, and far too bias. It’s not personal, its just your behavior.
Why do people use “bias” when what they mean is “biased?”
@Hoppy,
It could be a cultural thing such as “all your bases are belong to us”.
