   It’s not a bad thing that PLL hit a 0.9 to be honest. It hit a 0.9 last summer too, and the show’s fan base is still going strong. Yeah, I have no worries here. Nice that its viewership was up though!

   And Jane By Design made the list, OH SNAP! Steady as a rock that one, even when PLL falls slightly.

   I expected PLL to fall a little. Doing fine, has a steady fanbase. Last summer it fell to a .8 for a couple of weeks. Surprised Jane By Design rose. It had more viewers than Secret Life.

   Great for Rizzoli & Isles and Real Housewives of OC.

   When will we see the effects of the DirecTV/Viacom? Is that for tomorrow’s ratings?

   Good to see Jane By Design for the first time on this list, I believe. It did slightly better in total viewers this week than Secret Life of the American Teen, but it still can’t get above that 0.5 hump. At the end of the day, total viewers doesn’t matter. The demo is what matters, and a 0.5 demo, often a 0.4, is pretty much guaranteed cancellation. The thing a show like Secret Life of the American Teen has going for it is that it’s a veteran show, unlike Jane By Design, so the network no longer expects big ratings. It also bounces around between a 0.6-0.8 demo, unlike Jane By Design, which always pulls either a 0.4 or 0.5. It doesn’t matter how many total viewers Jane By Design has(which isn’t many to being with). If they are only going to pull low demos, it’s going to get cancelled, regardless of the numbers of viewers.

   Pretty Little Liars is getting very boring. I’m about to be done with the show. It’s just getting really repetitive, and I’m starting to feel like nothing is happening. It’s just going in circles. Ratings for the show are good though. I was a bit surprised to see the demo fall below a 1.0 though.

   Ouch at PLL.Hopefully it rebounds next week &was down just cause of the week off.Go JBD!steady, rising when your leadin falls, having more total viewers than SL and making the top 100 cable finally. I would love it if Bunheads, JBD got renewed but things arent looking that great for that to happen.(im sure PLL will be renewed.)

   i don’t understand why people think it’s some big deal that jane by design made the list. the show should make it every week considering it has ZERO competition. it should make the list every week, but this is like the first time. abc family should cancel it. it’s on with no competition and still can’t get good ratings. if you put it on another night, it wouldn’t even get a million viewers and would probably get a 0.2 or 0.3 18-49 rating.

   Is tosh.0 the best demo % for number of total viewers? 1.4 for only 2.2 million viewers is simply amazing!

    White Collar doing great. Loved the episode last night. The show has aged well and this might be its best season yet.

    Bunheads will get renewed for another 8, Jane will not.
    Comparing Jane, a first season show with a big lead in, to Secret Life, which is doing about the same number after FIVE YEARS is ridiculous. In it’s first season (with it’s first season promotion) it was doing triple what Jane is doing. “Steady” just isn’t good enough for a new show that is not doing close to 2, in its first season with all that promotion, with a big lead in and with no competition.

    Excellent White Collar last night, it does look like great story ahead. Good numbers. Bomer just gets better and better and interestingly hotter if that’s even possible

    Yeah, Bomer looked hot in tropical sunshine. The light seemed to hit him from all the right angles. But IMO last night’s episode belonged to Tim. He absolutely hit it out of the ballpark with how he portrayed Peter. Not to say Matt didn’t do an amazing job. The two of them are such a great team.

    Jane By Design will most likely not get renewed. It only got an 8 episode pickup in the first place which isn’t a good start and the first time it ever made the top 100 list was on its 15th episode. The first time Secret Life did not make the list was its 95th episode.. Not to mention “steady” at 0.4-0.5 in the demo is nothing to be proud of especially in the first season with the strongest lead in the network has. Bunheads may have a shot at renewal because it literally has dropped in the demo once since the premier, has a much weaker lead in, and more competition.

    But I highly doubt any cancellation/renewal decisions will be made until Switched at Birth ends its season in the Fall.

    @Tiera I am really afraid that sticking Switched at Birth on in the fall, and cutting it’s order from 12-8 shows ABCFAM is over it. I hope not.

    My bet is they pickup PLL, Bunheads, and SLOTAT.

    @Kelly, is it only 8? I thought it was supposed to be 10. When they renewed it last summer the renewal was for 22 episodes and they aired 12 of them in the winter. If it is only 8 that’s really weird that they would cut out only 2 episodes; and you’re right that’s really not a good sign. Such a shame that show had some real potential.

    What I don’t understand is why the network put it in the Fall in the first place. Last Summer Secret Life and Switched at Birth were a great pairing and both shows did amazing in ratings. They separate them for the Winter/Spring and they both drop dramatically. It would have helped them both to put them back together this summer too and wait to premier Bunheads later.

    @Tiera, it seems like ABCFAM has never figured out how to build a night. SLOTAT and Switched at Birth were a great one two punch. And so was MIOBI and SLOTAT. Both should have been given more than a season to build before separating them. In both cases the lead in and the follow up show were hits when kept together. To separate two hits together in the hope of launching another show that might or might not be a hit is just stupid. They’ve ended up with a whole line up of non- hits. I feel like they are doing with Switched at Birth what they did with MIOBI.

    I think SLOTAT would have fallen this season no matter what it was paired with. The show has run it’s course.
