I don’t get it? I guess if you have to explain it, it loses all it’s flavor.

Ed Shultz – the other white meat.
Debbie Waserman Shultz – tastes like chicken only with pub hair. You have to post more. That was good.
You cannot go by polls. Regan was behind in all polls to Carter up until election day and then won 49 states!!!
About time Willard started firing back.

I thought for sure the liberals would have debunked the news that doing away with the tax cuts for the rich would fund the Fed govt for about a week. I noticed none did. So i did some research to see if it was true.
Fed govt spends $3,796 billion yearly. Divide by 12 = $316+ billion monthly. Divide by 4 = $79+ billion weekly. So do away with tax cuts for the rich & fund the fed govt for about a week. OK liberals tell me how taxing the rich will solve the problem?
Source for numbers here.
I know things are bad…i had no idea they are that bad. I love it when folks so we have a revenue problem not a spending problem.
Interests on the debt last year $450+ billion. One year of revenue from taking away the Bush tax cuts on the rich $70 – $80 billion. (Depending on your source & how well the economy is doing.) I’ll be generous & say $80 billion. Interests alone 5.6 times greater than the revenue gained. I love it when folks so we have a revenue problem not a spending problem.
Debt numbers source here.
$375+ billion on interest this year through June. 3 months to go. Can we top the $450+ from last year? The lowest 3 months this year totaled $60+ billion. We need $75 billion. I say we beat last year’s $450+ billion. Anybody wanna bet?
Once again congress shurking their duty. For you liberals (or anybody else) who think its A-OK. Keep in mind a Republican (maybe somebody like Ron Paul or Rush) will be POTUS again someday. His Secretary of Health will have the power then.
If Nobama loses Willard’s Secretary of Health will be writing some of rules/regulations. That’s if it don’t get repealed.
If Chris Gonzalez is telling the truth he/she might have a good “school system.” I’m sure some will think their terrible. I didn’t have time to research them…so i have no idea.
———————————-
“They have learned so much and they want to go to school,” Johnson said. “You know, my kids wake up with an ‘I’m-ready-to-go attitude’.” KIPP has 125 schools in 20 states, and serves more than 39,000 students. “Ninety percent of our kids are low income, but 90 percent of my eighth-graders have historically gone on to college,” boasts Chris Gonzalez of KIPP. “I’m focused on college for every kid.”
Interesting article on who earns & pays what in federal income taxes.
———————-
The top 1 percent, for instance, pay an average tax rate of more than 24 percent. The top 5 percent — a tax rate of a little more than 20 percent. The top 10 percent — about 18 percent.
For the bottom 50 percent of taxpayers, the average rate is 1.85 percent.
Read more here.
The president does not mention another factor in the fairness equation — close to half of American workers pay no federal income taxes at all.
Yep i was right.
Better not take the bet i made earlier.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. budget deficit grew by nearly $60 billion in June, remaining on track to exceed $1 trillion for the fourth straight year.
Through the first nine months of the budget year, the federal deficit totaled $904.2 billion, the Treasury Department reported Thursday.
Read more here.
The Congressional Budget Office predicts the deficit for the full year, which ends on Sept. 30, will total $1.17 trillion. That would be a slight improvement from the $1.3 trillion deficit recorded in 2011, but still greater than any deficit before Obama took office.
Supposedly Willard can’t spend money he’s been raising until after he officially gets the nomination. If folks things won’t get nasty after the Republican convention…ask Newt Gingrich & Rick Santorum if Willard can get nasty. Nobama has been hammering Willard with negative ads for months. The race still basically tied. Not a good sign for you Nobama supporters. The good news…long time to go before election day.
OK i look like some who post a full page of comments.
I got a case of the “smile & type.”
C’ya
P.S. I read the link you left for me d.d. Mucho Gracias!

Only Post of the day.
Willard is getting slamed with negative ads. He’s being smeared with all this crap about his business career. Which if you think about it President Obama never had and maybe that is why he has no idea what he’s doing.
Obama and Chicago political machine is running one of the uglest negative campaigns in history against Willard.
I watch the left wing, bias, so-called objective media and not a word about how ugly the Obama Campaign’s tactics are. They just look the other way.
Friends on both sides of the asile if a Republican Campaign did these types of things the lib. media would be down there throats.
The irony is that if a Republican attacked a Democrat Candidate in this way his poll numbers would plummet and the dems numbers would go up. He would be held accountable by the lib. media. President Obama is allowed to politically destroy his opponent and the lib. stands by happy he did. President Obama’s approval numbers are not good but he is increasing his lead over Romney.
We are playing a rigged game righties. Boy that lib. media is a nice poodle to own. You take it out for a walk and it does everything you ask and more.
H.B. , I’ll take both the thanks & a hug. It’s refreshing when posters actually read others, rather, than rushing to see what they can post next. I will admit to not reading the SCOTUS stuff, for, I was traveling. Maybe, that was a good thing.
son of coffee Thanks for the update, &, keep them coming.
Morning, everyone.

Gee, Jeff. You make this too easy. If you look above your Bain Capital c/p story , you’ll find that the story has been debunked , in fact , more than once.
FactCheck to Obama Camp: Your Complaint is All Wet
The Obama campaign attempted to accuse Romney of using Bain to outsource jobs, Romney was a “passive, limited partner [with] no management capacity”
http://factcheck.org/2012/07/factcheck-to-obama-camp-your-complaint-is-all-wet/
FORTUNE — Mitt Romney did not manage Bain Capital’s investments after leaving to run the Salt Lake City Olympic Games, according to confidential firm documents obtained by Fortune
The latest slur was reported by the Boston Globe. They printed in their own paper in 1999 criticism of Romney for leaving Bain. There are numerous paragraphs of this online to review.
Romney either quit abruptly in 1999, leaving Bain in turmoil. Or he managed Bain through 2002 and then committed a felony lying about it. If these Boston Globe types were smarter, they would get together beforehand to make sure they get the lies straight.
Accusing someone of a possible felony without the proof to back it up can backfire on the accuser. I hope it does.
If Bain Capital, a legal successful American business who like every other business has outsourced jobs, is the only thing they can try to pin on Romney then this will get old by November. Plus the difference in Romney outsourcing jobs through an investment firm, it wasn’t MY money. Obama took tax payers money, and still does, to fund companies overseas, governments that hate us and allow agencies to go to Vegas and drink wine in a hot tub. Looking at Romney’s background, he came from a hardworking successful family. He could have sat on a beach and smoked pot, but he didn’t. Obama is a fraud. He is a poster boy for the liberal left without an original idea in his head. This is far too obvious to those who have the real money in this country. Why do you think they are sitting on millions of dollars? No way will big business back Obama because they know he is clueless about the economy. He wins, more jobs in foreign countries. He loses, manufacturing will open up again. Romney has very wide spread connections with businesses all over the world. Obama just makes an ass of himself in the eyes of other governments.
One more thing I’ll put this in simple terms for simple minds like Jeff ….This isn’t an FTC investigation or even an FBI investigation. It’s some reporter’s spin on looking at documents from a complicated business partnership. Here is one example: Romney claims you can’t just flip a switch and your involvement goes away. Kinda like treaties and government policies. Obama is trying to put into place his health care..however, you can’t do this overnight. States have time to make the adjustments so all of the different agencies can prepare to deal with the new regs…a firm as large and diverse as Bain would need the same structure of slowly adjusting the line of protocol.
Our school district has a new Super, but the old is still on the payroll as a “Consultant” until the new Super is up and running. However, policy going forward is decided upon by the new super, not the old.
Understand now Jeff. Sometimes your copy/paste comments need to be slapped down. Usually I keep scrolling, but seriously, some one needed to point out your inept understanding of the business world.
Cutting taxes for the rich … Let’s see how that worked out the last time. Unemployment went from 4.1% to almost 8%. A four year budget surplus turned into a trillion dollar deficit and the national debt almost doubled.
Yeah, cutting taxes for the rich will solve all our economic woes. Go, Willard, go!
TheBoss1,
Hope you’ve recovered from your surgery.

Dogs, dead people get election docs from nonprofit
A.P.
The voter registration form arrived in the mail last month with some key information already filled in: Rosie Charlston’s name was complete, as was her Seattle address.
Problem is, Rosie was a black lab who died in 1998.
A group called the Voter Participation Center has touted the distribution of some 5 million registration forms in recent weeks, targeting Democratic-leaning voting blocs such as unmarried women, blacks, Latinos and young adults.
But residents and election administrators around the country also have reported a series of bizarre and questionable mailings addressed to animals, dead people, noncitizens and people already registered to vote.
This is tampering with our voter system .

Poll: Obamacare Ruling Makes Voters ‘Less Likely’ to Vote for Obama
Some ‘pickins’ from this poll.
The latest Quinnipiac poll shows that — by a 15-point margin — the Supreme Court’s Obamacare ruling makes voters less likely, rather than more likely, to cast their vote for President Obama. Twenty-seven percent of registered voters say that the ruling makes them “less likely” to vote for Obama, while only 12 percent say that it makes them “more likely” to do so. Only 9 percent of independents say that they are “more likely” to vote for Obama because of the ruling, compared to 27 percent who are “less likely.”
Among Catholics — a large percentage of whom are historically swing voters — 35 percent say that the ruling makes them “less likely” to vote for Obama, while only 10 percent say it makes them “more likely” to vote for him.
but…………….
Pew poll shows Obama’s lead increasing & those that follow Nate Silver like I do :
Why Obama May Be Stronger Than His Approval Ratings

Well, I got stuff to do.
@Italian Mike … “My apologizes to TheBoss1″???? Holy crappola. That’s an even worse bastardization of the English language. Take a cue from your GOP brethren. If you come to this country, Italian Mike, learn how to speak the English language.
@d.d. … THANKS d.d. I’m getting close to the four-month mark post-surgery. My three-month follow-up went really well. Everything is healing nicely. I will not fully fuse for another three-six months, but I’m making progress. My surgeon even released me to start playing golf again!
Thanks for the well-wishes.
