HISTORY’S LAUNCH OF PICKED OFF
GARNERS 2.3 MILLION TOTAL VIEWERS
HISTORY® continues its track record of ratings success with the premiere of PICKED OFF on Wednesday, July 11 at 10pm ET. The series launch delivered 2.3 million total viewers, as well as 1.1 million Adults 25-54 and 887,000 thousand Adults 18-49.
HISTORY and the producers ofare giving amateur antiquers a chance to pick their way toward a giant cash prize of $10,000 in PICKED OFF, a new six-part competition series which premiered Wednesday, July 11 at 10pm ET on HISTORY, and airs on Wednesday’s at 10pm thereafter. In PICKED OFF, weekend pickers go head-to-head in a series of elimination challenges to find items they think will fetch top market value. Four teams begin with $100 each to spend on one item…and the clock is ticking. Teams dig through barns and meet interesting characters all in pursuit of the perfect pick.
Throughout the six episodes of Picked Off, viewers at home will be able to experience the thrill of the hunt by bidding online on actual items discovered in each episode via: www.history.com/pickedoff or www.pickedoffauction.com. The online auction, which is powered in conjunction with Delivery Agent, offers viewers the opportunity to own the very valuables they are seeing uncovered in front of them.
