they had to do 24 eps or possibly lose tax credits, no shock…it probably be a split season

Don’t get why so many people are freakin’ out.

It is obviously going to air 12 and 12 in two different summers.

Even if they didn’t they could probably air the other 12 starting in early Jan’14 and be alright as well but they prob won’t.

Either way i’m happy, it is actually surprisingly good and that twist with Lydia, didn’t see it coming. I just thought that it was a nice little side story for the character and then BOOM!!

    Hopefully Awkward. is next.

I really like Teen Wolf , it is for me one of the top shows currently being done. As for the 24 episodes , that is perfect since they can start off in April and end in September.
BTW ,, some of my favorite parts of the cast ,,
Eaddy Mays, who plays Mrs. Victoria Argent, can you imagine her as your mother-inlaw!
Dylan O’Brien, as Stiles who has the best lines and helps to lighten up the show.
Colton Haynes, who plays the Damian of the group as Jackson.
I am looking forward to the balance of this season and what ever comes in 2013, I WANT A SUPERBOWL PROMO :)

  • RyanCanada

    i thought season 2 is 22 episodes?

  • Joseph

The said they doubled the order for 2013, that means they can premier in early April and run through the end of September.

  • Joseph

Season 2 started on June 3rd and ends August 13th, its 12 episodes.

  • Sammi

    Do this for awkward

  • panda22

YAY! for Teen Wolf!….as many have said i expect them to film 24 eps. in California, but split season 3 in Summer 2013-14, 12 episodes per 3A/3B.

Plus….i also thought Jeff Davis said season 2 was also 24 eps.?

  • Lane

I hope Awkward gets a 24 episode as well. And maybe even an hour long episodes?

  • MonKey Man

    I agree Awkward

  • david

I am not surprised about this news because of the tax credit they got for the show. The show has allways been really steady in the ratings as well. I am thinking they will strech the season over the winter and than next summer like ABC Family does.

  • panda22

TW got $10.4 million in the tax credit lottery.

  • jake

So happy, it’s the best sci-fi teenage drama right now, the acting is brilliant even by the young actors, and the kanema arc is very intense, so many secrets and twists.

  • Jenny

Do this with Awkward as well MTV! That show is amazing.

They should follow what ABC Family does. Start up in January, and run 12 episodes. Come back in the summer with 12 episodes.

  • Dan

I’m excited for this but too bad that I can’t watch MTV or any other channels because of Directv!

  • Tyson

Awkward fans, your show doesn’t have $10 million worth of California tax credits. There won’t be 24 episodes in season three.

  • Ann

Happy for Teen Wolf! I have to believe they will split the episodes up into two parts because we all know 24 at one time would be too much for a show like this.

  • Mark

When in the hell is mtv gonna announce beavis and butthead renewal? For real people.thats the last show that has not had a announcement on wether or not its cancelled or renewed! ! Does anyone know if beavis butthead is coming back?!?!
