The Espy Awards were Wednesday's highest rated cable original, with a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating. Royal Pains and Dallas tied for second place among adults 18-49, with both shows earning a 1.0 rating, Dallas matched its performance last week while Royal Pains was down a tenth from its last new episode on June 27.
We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our primary source, if you don't see your show it wasn't in that top 100 list.
The list below is long but you can use your browsers "find on page" feature (usually CTRL+F or CMD+F) to search - that's probably the easiest way to find last night's episode of Fast N Loud.

@Bryan, SpongeBob, as always.
Can someone post “The Exes” numbers? I’m disappointed it’s struggling because it’s decently funny show. It deserves a better lead-in. Thanks.
@The End
Actually, DirecTV was willing to keep the channels available while negotiations were still going. However, Viacom wouldn’t allow it and threatened to open a legal case against Directv if they did.
I’d still like to know if this dispute will have any affect on a show’s renewal chances or will it be overlooked?
Disney- 9 entries
Nick- 0 entries
Disney wins!
Why wouldn’t it end soon? These things happen all the time, Viacom wants money (even if it’s less than they hoped) and DirecTV doesn’t want to lose subscribers (and they will if it’s protracted).
Even the messier AMC/Dish deal is supposedly happening.
@disney rocks
Ya’ know, I really can’t STAND people like you. RHONjd and Kalie are actually people who have enough guts to say they don’t like something but will defend it when their is something wrong. You are actually PROUD that Disney has an unfair advantage. You sicken me just like the greedy pieces of crap at Viacom. I truly thank RHONjd and Kalie for defending Nickelodeon despite the fact that they don’t like it. Wow I must sound so cheesy right now.
i dont get why futurama fans dont turn out for new eps… the show is just as good… or close to it… i bet if it were on adult swim like the reruns used to be the new ones would do super…
last night was even a hyped live stream after the show which was great…
i’m hoping it can inch back to .8 at least…
maybe the reruns that comedy central shows all week long make up for it…
@JJ
LOL
Ant The Exes ratings, not too bothered on The Soul Man, would like to see The Exes grow on The Soul Man though since it the superior show and the only thing that annoys me about it is why isn’t Kelly Stables in the opening sequence.
Well, the new episodes of Futurama aren’t as good. They’re okay, with the odd brilliant episode, but it used to be consistently great.
Even so, I do find the sheer magnitude of the ratings collapse a bit weird.
@Aerilyn
Would obviously depend on how many Nielsen households are affected by this situation, 20,000 make up Americans ratings system so if a lot are affected some shows could lose a huge chunk of viewers.
But pretty much, as long as a show is hitting targets, regardless of this situation it’l be renewed.
Adding to this, as said if the show performs well enough there’s no reason why they it come back.
*why it can’t come back
Sorry, pretty tired so this’l be my last comment for today.
SOUL MAN: 0.3 A18-49 rtg, 886,000 viewers
THE EXES: 0.2 A18-49 rtg, 741,000 viewers
HOLLYWOOD EXES 9p: 0.4/A18-49rtg 663,000 viewers
You know people, Cartoon Network is apart of the kids competition too? Sure they usually aren’t on the list but this list is based on top 100 adult viewers, not Disney Channel, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon’s key KIDS demo. We can’t fully call any kids channel number one based on these numbers as all it highlights is higher adult viewership on those channels, not the key demographics. Cartoon Network scores over 2 million viewers for shows like Regular Show, but that never makes the list with adults. Disney Channel based on key kid demos is number one with kids 2-11,6-11, and 9-14, while Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon are neck and neck fighting for number two, where both trade off from number two and number three.
Thanks for that, The Soul Man is actually slightly up, might be because of Shirley maybe??.
The Exes is steady, good enough for renewal, i hope so, really liking it this season, after HIC it is my fav TVL original sitcom.
@Martin – I agree regarding The Exes. It’s often funnier than Happily Divorced. Retired at 35 and Soul Man are not that great. Hot in Cleveland seems to be a “one-hit wonder” for TVLand. Nothing else is catching fire.
Would they do any better an hour earlier?
The reason that Necessary Roughness is Down in ratings is that it is going against other 10 pm shows like the Soul Man and the Exes a
Ong with others like me who TiVo either Dallas or Royal Pains and watch one of those to at 10 pm. TVLand should move their comedies to 8 pm where there is little competition. USA should try competing at 8 pm and on Fridays. In a few weeks, Alphas will compete at 10 pm with Teen Wolf and Perception. not every new show should be at the 10 pm hour. How about Fridays, Saturdays, and Thursdays?
M&J and Baby D. slightly down….but still solid enough for renewal. M&J was kecka funny last night!, liquid Longo….head up your ass, hehe!
@ Elliott
Necessary Roughness isn’t particularly interesting anymore. Last season was all about Danni, her kids and their adjustment to her divorce. Some of the hassles between Danni and her daughter were really funny. This season devotes way too much time to T.K., Danni’s boyfriend and the football team’s crazy owner. The show has lost its focus and is getting tedious. I think the ratings are beginning to reflect that as well.
@Jon23812 I’m sure it was SpongeBob, but I was asking more about what the highest total viewer numbers were on the network Wednesday. Just to get a picture of how bad the DIRECTV blackout is hurting the channel.
