   The Real World ratings are posted on Thefutoncritic. Looks like it may have been accidentally left out of the Top 100 on TVBN?

   We can now say for sure that Nickelodeon was REALLY hurt by the DIRECTV blackout on Wednesday. They were #3 for the day (behind Disney Channel AND Cartoon Network) with all kid and tween demos:

   @Dan: it wasn’t in the top 100 by adults 25-54 , which is what we see. I know it’s a bit confusing since we re-sort that list by adults 18-49 and post only 18-49 rtg and total viewers.

   I’m sure USA just loves the fact that no matter how hard they try with original programs that WWE Raw after near 20 years is still the highest rated show on the network.

    Melissa and Joey wouldn’t do a winter run because Melissa is expecting child number 3.

    That being said, Wednesday’s episode was the funniest in the series to date.

    @Tom interesting how different your view of Necessary Roughness is from mine. I have a friend who loves the show and is getting as disappointed as you are. But me, I really was bored stiff with all that family stuff and wanted more crazy football players and loco owners. So I’m liking the show better now. But they’d have to do away with the family entirely for me to watch every week.

    oliver… don’t mind different opinions on futurama… sorry you didn’t like this weeks but the show is totally the same as it was before… so many people love the new eps without even realizing the show is still in production… they just find it in the middle of the rerun cycle…

    i just looked at some reviews for this weeks from websites (not user comments) like tv fanatic and dan of geek, firefox news etc…

    -This one is just plain funny, from start to finish
    -one of Futurama’s best episodes of the season so far
    -this is not a classically great episode, like Decision 3012 a couple of weeks ago, but it’s good solid fun
    -after getting political with last week’s very funny satire on politics in “Decision 3012”, FUTURAMA gets back to just being silly with its latest Season 7 episode “The Thief of Baghead. B+
    -was the perfect demonstration of just how bizarre “Futurama” can be 4 stars out of 5

    I love this Viacom-DirectTV fight — I know it’s a real nuisance to some viewers, so I’m sorry to say it. But it sure does look as though Viacom is getting battered in its ratings which directly is linked to its advertising revenue, whereas DirectTV has relatively few complaining customers. I’m sure they are both suffering, but it looks as though the longer it goes, the worse it gets for Viacom. it will be so interesting to see who flinches.

    Only USA shows worth keeping are Suits and White Collar. Covert Affairs has it moments but the others have run their course…
