@Doug Z … I really did not think you that that slow, but I will explain it to you again.
Why are Romney’s tax returns while he worked at Bain relevant:
1). He’s made his experience at Bain the central rationale for being elected president. Let’s see what he earned and what he paid in taxes while he worked there.
2). He wants to give tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans. Well, let’s see how much he paid in taxes while he worked at Bain and amassed this great wealth.
3). He believes taxes are too high on the “job creators.”. Okay, let’s see how much in taxes he paid while he “was creating jobs” at Bain.
Now, what about the above do you not understand and need me to explain?
TheBoss1——-You do not act like and adult by calling people names.Your last post is why people complain. I will not call you names. I am smarter than that. I will just never post to you again for I am here to have fun.
@HRJ … you ask why cannot we all get along? Do you read some of the things the Righties accuse Pres. Obama? The recent diatribe by Rush Limbaugh is evidence enough, not to mention that radical seditionist lbsles.
I will defend the President of the United States. You may not like the man in the office, but respect the office.
@Doug Z … I don’t care if you call me names or not. I’m a big boy. I can take it. But, I will push back when people call our president names. And, when a poster makes a moronic post (go back and read Nick Z’s post and you judge the intelligence/sanity of it), I will call it out. Nick Z’s post was moronic. So, I wonder, is he a moron?
Pres Obama said today:
“The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.”
Now that we understand Pres. Obama”s belief that government created and is responsible for the internet and that companies are simply garnering profits off the government’s invention,,I wonder how the internet and technology would have developed if Pres Obama,,Pelosi and Reed were in power back in the 1990′s instead of Pres Clinton and the republican congress..Pres Clinton and the republican congress insisted that the policy should be hand’s off the internet as far as taxation,,regulation and operation,,letting the technological internet revolution develop unemcumbered..Would Pres Obama have stood by while the invention of free email threatened to replace the jobs of public sector union workers at the post office??Since we now understand Pres Obama’s ideology,,could we assume he would have levied federal taxes on the government created internet that could have changed the entire online business model as we know it today??Would Pres Obama have used the internet to fund public education and Obamacare??Would the business model that gave us Google,,Facebook ,,Twitter,,Amazon ,,Wikipedia,,TVBN and all tha cool Apple gadgets ,,been possible if we had a Pres Obama back then instead of a Pres Clinton??
@Doug Z …
Here is part of Nick Z’s post:
“Liberals are Socialists …. Socialists are Communists …. Communists are Marxists and Maoists …
Ergo, Liberals are Socialist, Communist, Marxist Maoists …
Except for the Liberals who are Fascists ….”
Now, does the motherf****r really believe this? Because if he does, he’s a moron.
HRJ————more jobs have left the country under BHO with my tax money than any other Pres. BHO even tops Bush
TheBoss1——-I thought you were talking to me.
Boss——–Liberals are Socialists
I see that Squawkbox’s rating was BEYOND ugly. Broke through 100k on the downside in TOTAL viewers.
Are changes coming soon? Has anyone at CNBC figured out that its viewers tune in for investment/trading information, and NOT to watch another political debate show?
Wish I knew the answers, but CNBC has proved remarkably resistant to returning Squawk to its core expertise.
@Doug Z … by THAT logic———- Conservatives are Fascists!
Do you see how insane that is?
Boss——-Communists are Marxists and Maoists … Russia is not Communist and really not Marzists. There is no country that follows Marxists theory. Carl Marx was a dreamer. Lennon even said we have to change Marzist to fit our situation
@Doug Z … of course I was not talking to you. I respect you. That is why I respond to your posts. But, is Nick Z your brother!
TheBoss1——–Liberals are Socialists—-Big Gov control. Conservatives are Fascists! What, Fascists are big Gov. but not Socialists.
@Doug Z — First of all it’s Karl Marx. Second of all, it’s Lenin (unless you are talking about the author of “Imagine” … who basically sings of a Marxist state).
If you want to debate Marxist theory, let’s go. If you haven’t figured out by now, I was a major in political science.
And, oh-by-the-way, 40 BC is not a good parallel to our country’s plight. You’re better off comparing 130 BC to our current political situation, time of Roman demagogues and the rise of the Gracchi Brothers. Once Marius makes the Roman army a professional army and Sulla marches his troops into Rome, the fate of the Republic had been sealed. It was just a matter of time.
TheBoss1–political science Socialists
Doug Z … The political spectrum on a continuum (although it’s more likely a circle):
Fascist —- Reactionary —- Conservative —- Moderate —- Liberal —- Radical —- Socialist —- Communist
@Doug Z … political scientist … a student of politics
TheBoss1this is
I have an a bachelors of business administration, a major in psychology and a minor in accounting. I am 55 years old and I am one of the biggest history buffs you’ll ever meet. I’ve been doing a lot of studying on Russian history because schools do not teach it and it was very interesting. Karl Marx was a dreamer with no foot in reality. Lenin had to change all of Marx theories to fit his own. Today Russia is not a communist country they basically have the exact same government that they started with before the revolution. The revolution was nothing but the rural landowners fighting the urban citydwellers. That is almost true with all of Europe and I will not go into it because it takes too long. But it is the simplicity of the situation
Romney: “John Kerry ran for president,” Mitt Romney said Monday morning on “Fox & Friends.” “You know, his wife, who has hundreds of millions of dollars, she never released her tax returns. Somehow, this wasn’t an issue.”
Senator Kerry’s office: “The Romney campaign needs to stop getting their facts wrong about John Kerry and Teresa Heinz Kerry,” Wade added, saying Kerry had put a total of 20 years of tax returns into the public domain by the time he ran for president.
Romney is wrong on another lil fact about Teresa Heinz Kerry, she is worth 1.2 BILLION!! That’s a lot of ketchup & mustard!!
